I have a very warm and welcoming personality. I am very personable, caring, comforting, and discipline. Previously, I worked at a senior living village and have experienced assisting many different seniors and making sure they are comfortable. During duty, I like to make sure all things appropriate that is asked for is taken care of. Growing up my grandma and I shared a room til I was a junior in high-school. Which brought me the desire to be a care giver. I pushed my grandma to be strong and do the things she loved to do no matter the age. She very much raised me and now I would like to help other elderlies strive to live their life. Seeing them smile honestly brings joy to me because they can really enjoy and appreciate the little thing. It reminds me to be grateful in any situation. I would appreciate any opportunity to help take care and look after your loved one.

Hi! My name is Emily, and I'm a senior studying Psychology at UF. I've been a caregiver in many different capacities since age thirteen when I had my first babysitting job. Since then I've had experience working at a children's daycare, a preschool, a retirement community, an Alzheimer's day center, and a home-health agency that provides services to the elderly. I have loved interacting with the elderly ever since I was a little girl. I discovered this by the joy that I felt when I would go with a group from my church to sing Holiday carols at nursing homes every year. I plan on going to going to graduate school for Applied Behavior Analysis, and my dream is to work as a behavior analyst with the geriatric population.
