My journey as a caregiver beginned almost 26 years ago from taking care of my grandparents. So after I graduated from high school I decided to take a few courses to become a CNA. Woww that was 23 years ago and I'm still doing what I love to do.

I've been in the medical field for 20 years. I love taking care of people! I enjoy helping my client's to be able to stay at home in a clean and safe environment!

I have some clinical experience while training for my BSN for nursing with clinical rotations from the hospital and nursing home facilities. But most of my caregiving experience came from taking care of my grandparents while they were living with my family and I. It was difficult to see that due to the disease process of alzhimers and dementia. But we do things for the people we love and care about. Little things that may seem insignificant mean the most to people. Me personally, i would want to entrust someone who I know has the best interest in mind for my family member who needs assistance. I wouldnt really know what to say for a personal achievement... i did finish Medical Assistant school I was proud of that. I was proud of being a medical assistant at the age of 19 working with heart failure patients. I am proud now for restarting my nursing school and doing all I can to get my education.

Hello, I've been working as a caregiver for 5+ years. My area or expertise is dementia and post surgery recovery. If I could describe myself in 3 words would be reliable, caring, and enthusiastic. What attracts me to being a caregiver is helping others and making sure their happy.
