1. My mom was dx with cancer and it was my desire to take care of her , my desire is to treat each client with the tender loving care as though they were my own love one . And to provide a safe and clean enviroment for them to feel safe and deeply loved at home.

I am a very hardworking person who love to enjoy life to the fullest. Also, love to take care of people and show how much I care about them, no matter what the circumstances may be in there life. Having the patience and time devoted to the work you do in life shows how important everything is to me and I'm willing to continue with my career path taking care of my patients, residents, clients or whoever it may be as well as being a respectful team memeber.

Hello I am a nursing student and a Certified Medical Assistant/ Certified Nursing Assistant of 10 plus years. I have a passion for caring for elderly adults and adults with special needs since my teenage years. I'm most proud when I have my clients/ patients thank me for a job well done. My patient's and clients often feel like I go the extra mile to make sure their needs are met, however, to me its just my way of giving my clients/patients high quality healthcare. My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is getting excepted into a nursing program. I plan to own and operate my own assisted living facility in the next 5 plus years.

What makes me a great caregiver is, I pay attention to my clients. I treat them with the respect that I would want someone to treat me or one of my love ones. I want to become a caregiver because I love interacting with my clients.

What has made me a great caregiver is my passion, compassion, patience, love, Empathy, reliable, flexible and trustworthy i have for the Elderly. One time i was at a grocery store and an elderly asked for help and was so grateful that i was there at that moment. I felt in my heart that compassion and respect for them. What do i enjoy most about being a caregiver? It is rewarding! That is Rewarding! I like to make a difference in people's life. To make them smile and have a better day. A personal achievement i am proud of is having to take care of many patients, make them happy and give them a good quality of life.

I have the desire to make an overall difference in the quality of life for those I serve by providing compassion and dedication.

I became a caregiver because at 17 both my grandfather's were diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease & I was determined to help. I help them both with the difficult processes of the disease. At 19, when my maternal grandfather passed, it encourages me to get my CNA license. When I am taking care of someone, I treat them as though they are my grandfathers who I have taken care of for so many years. They are my heart & I treat every client as such. At 21, I decided to further my career by going to nursing school so that I could further my education to obtain optimal knowledge to take care go my clients. I am the most proud of starting my journey to becoming a registered nurse. I just turned 23 in March, & I have a two year old son who I am absolutely in love with! Taking care of him & others is my passion in life.

( 1 ) I love people, I feel great when I can put a smile on their face, and a hug has this healing power we all need. (2) While caring for my husband, I felt this warmth, a fulfillment in making him comfortable. While working in a nursing home, the patients there needed to feel as if they still mattered.. and to assure them they did, still makes me smile. (3) Caring for and loving my husband until God called his name, and being most honored to have shared in his peace as he took his last breath.

I feel I was blessed with the caregiving mentality at a very early age. I have an aunt who is only 5 years older than me and she has Cerebral Palsy. We are very close and were inseparable as children, I did all of her daily needs dressing, bathing, transferring out of bed and to bathroom without being asked. I saw she needed help and I just jumped in and did it. Years later as an adult I went on to be a CNA and I did this work CNA, home health & hospice for 10 years until I started raising my 5 children then I stepped back because I felt I couldn't give my full dedication that a person or people need if my children needed me. Now my children are older and I am coming back into the medical field eager and ready to give wholeheartedly. I went back to school and obtained my LVN license and I'm taking an online course to get my BSN and RN. I am bonded as well. I take caring for others very seriously. It is my passion to help others in any way that I can.

I love supporting people and being a caregiver, I have compassion for others. I've been a caregiver for more than 10 years and a Licensed Nurse for 5 years, I love what I do, it brings me joy to help and support others.

I used to own and managed a board and care business in Anaheim. We sold the business in 2001 to relocate to the Philippines. My husband's father was diagnosed of having thyroid cancer that time. He's cancer free now. We decided to come back ro California in 2009 but by then my husband was opposing to the idea of owning a board and care again. I love to be with elderly people. I'm a medical assistance graduate and worked in medical office for 3 years before owning my board and care. My last client that I was taking care of died last week,Feb.26. I took care of her for almost 6 years in her own home. I took her to all of her doctor's appts. Scheduled everything she needed . She was a great person and I feel lucky to have taken care of her. I enjoyed my time with her. I have a friendly personality and try my best to keep my clients dignity.

I had a resident one time that broke her leg. At first, she didn't trust anyone including the nurses but I finally convinced her to trust in me.
