I just finished school a few couple months ago and I been applying places as a patient care tech I am trying to get my cna certified nursing assistant im great with people loving and have compassion for those in need of care good with vital signs and if were the chance work in your service would be great

I became a care giver because I like helping people and I really like the medical field. I really like to help families with their loved ones recovery or just helping make them comfortable in a hospice setting. I am very proud of the different medical profession I have achieved. I am a medical assistant, CNA,HHA,Phlebotomist. I have been a medical assistant for more than 19 years. And CNA and HHA for 17 years and Phlebotomy for about 19 years also. I am a single mother of 4 ages 22,8,6, and 2. I am working to take care of them and myself.

I'm a caring preson that has cared for my own kids and Family for many years. Its important for me to not only be a good Caregiver, but to be a good employee. I'm great at making a hostile client laugh and find light on a Rainy Day.I have a heart for the elderly and truly enjoy going into someone's home to help them remain independent. I have unconditional love, positive attitude, patient and very genuine about the care I provide.

My grandfather leg got amputated. He couldn't do anything for his self and I always asked did he needs help and he says yes so I'm either throwing away his urinal or I'm pushing him around in his wheelchair. It's something that stuck and never looked at it as hard work. What makes me a great caregiver is that I "learn" my clients; their every what, where, who, when, and how... I learn little habits they may have, that may not be recognizable them; I learn their likes and dislikes; their humor and their seriousness... I learn when it's time and when it's not time; when it's a good time and when it's a bad time... I became a caregiver through my grief after the death of my husband in 2007; I felt I had to do something to honor his life by helping someone else... and the thing that I like most about my job is the one on one client to caregiver family feel I receive from caring for someone who may not be able to care for themselves. i love taking care of everyone.... pets as well. i have been taking care of people since i was 10 years old. my great grandmother was living with us at the time and i use to help her get dressed and help her get on the bedside commode. occasionally wiped her as well. when my other great grandmother was in the nursing home i always wanted to go so i could feed her and do her hair. as an adult i graduated from concorde career institute in 2006 as a patient care tech and cna. i have worked as a caregiver and cna for 3 years caring for 2 elderly women in their home. as they lived together. i was responsible for their full bed baths,preparing meals,checking their blood pressure and sugar levels,as they were both diabetic. and administered their insulin shots,i did their laundry,dressed them in the morning and in the evenings. also have taken them outside to the park,doctors appointments,restaurants.i have used a hoya lift and i had to repeatedly lift and transfer them as needed. i just want to help those who need the extra love and attention as well as boost their confidence. i treated them like they were my family and they have done the same. it brings me peace and joy to know i have helped someone and brought them any type of comfort... i feel like its my life duty

i became a caregiver because i love and care for the elderly. To be able to give the care they need and the love and time they deserve. I like being a caregiver because the things you can do for the elderly and see the smile it puts on their face, it makes me feel i have accomplished something. A personal achievement i am proud of is finishing high school and taking the extra step to go fourth and become a cna and medical assistant.
