Hello all!! I have been a home health aide for the last 8 years. I started off as a home health aide for about 6 years and then went and became PCA certified. Which was a great achievement. I have been employed by private families as well as private facilities. I love being a caregiver because I enjoy helping people. What attracted me to go in the nursing field is my mother. she is a nurse and has been for the last 16 years.

When I was a little girl, I helped take care of my father. I've been taking care of people for 10 years. I love what I do because, I'm helping others that can't do for themselves.

I became a Caregiver because I love to help others, I knew I wanted to help other's and I finally found a way to do so. I dislike to see how other's don't go the extra mile for those in need, I knew that if one person could make a difference, the world could be one step closer to becoming a better place, one person at a time. I enjoy hearing the people I meet tell me their life stories, making them smile, just listening to what they have to say, caring for them, getting into their world, there is nothing like a person willing to sit down and listen to you, all a person wants is a person to listen to them and understand them.

I started my caregiving in 2013 when my mom was discover with a tumor on her spine. Once doctors removed it she was no longer able to walk or do daily things her self. I stayed in the hospital day in and day out. Nurses taught me everything I needed to know to help my mom at 16.

Seeing my grandad pass away and that he never had the personal care assistance make me sad so while growing up I always told my self that I will always take care of my parents so it became a passion. I love when I enter a client home and they see me and see that I am a young woman and when I performed my duties to the best of my ability they are please that I make them happy that makes my day I also love to make sure I can make my clients smile at the end of the day.I am proud of my personal achievement is that for the pass 10 years I have made people happy and that I was able to be some assistance to someone.I am a loving, caring, honest, love to smile and a committed working.

I am Stenio Marc, since I am a teenager, I live with my grand mother that give me an appreciation special for elder. I really enjoy working, talking with them. I am very reliable, hard worker, always try to understand the confuse patient. I learn new things quickly that the reason why I like working with people I can learn. I am very dependable.

Bianca F. Hello. My name is Bianca Fedd. I am 24 years old. I am a nursing student, and most importantly, I am a mother of a beautiful 3 year old boy. I worked two years in an assistant living facility, where we treated every resident like family. I loved talking to the residents and hearing stories about their lives. I worked in the dining area where I served them three meals a day. In between meals, I visited residents in their rooms, participated in activities, helped make trips to the bathroom, and whatever else I could do to assist. I am a nurturer. I started working with my mother back in the 1980 doing private Duty. The first things is getting to know the client. Talking with them about there care and there like and dislike . Help with planning meals , Activities, ADL care, Medication Reminder( only at home).
