I became a care giver because I have a passion for helping those who can't help themselves. Care giving is not a job for me, it is a ministry that I take serious. I do it because I love it, it is rewarding for me and it is better to give than to receive. I completed two years' of college when I was told I would never make it. I am a fighter. I don't believe in giving up. I am a happy person, full of love and I like to spread it if people will accept it. I plan to some day own my own business and travel to other countries and help the less fortunate.

I became a caregiver because its my passion to take care of people who need my help.what I love about being a caregiver is I get to meet new people and putting a smile on someone face. My personal achievement I'm proud of is my kids. I have worked in the health field since 2003. I'm in school for nursing right now. I'm a very caring and passionate person who love helping people. I have 4 years experience as a state tested nurse aide. I'm hard working and I have a great personality.

The natural compassion I have for others is what makes me a great caregiver. Before I even knew about caregiving being an actual occupation, I had been doing it already for most of my teenage to young adult life. At the age of 16, along with my mother, I began taking care of my live-in grandfather. We took care of him until the day he passed. Shortly after I became a CNA and what some would find challenging I took on with ease. My GREATEST accomplishment thus far I would have to say are my children. Without them I wouldn't have been forced to be the adult I am today. I love to help others, and there's not much more to elaborate on about that. I take great pleasure in knowing that I have helped someone or even made their day.

My personal traits and expertise that help make me a great caregiver is my caring nature. I have a big heart full of love and compassion for my patients! My mother attracted me to be a caregiver because, of her illness it inspired me to care for her and for others with the best care! One thing that I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is spending quality time with my patient's and showing love and compassion to each and everyone of them! A personal achievement that I am proud of is helping patient during her time of transition and being rewarded by the patient's daughter for being there for her mother!I have years of experience working in a nursing home with geriatric care. I have experience with bathing professionally, tolieting, transfers, recording vital signs, and etc. I also worked at various home healthcare organizations and I have experience with transportation service, grocery store shopping for my patient if needed, cooking and preparing meals, daily exercise, giving bed baths, giving showers, grooming, skin care, peri care, excellent housekeeping, cleaning laundry, professional bed making, medication reminders, and etc. I worked at various hospitals with all of the age groups as well and I absolutely love my career as a care giver! I am very thorough in every aspect of caring for my patients and they are really in good hands!

Empathy and compassion. Working with people in a home care setting, is essential to me as a caregiver. It helps me feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion, it allows my patient to know their safety, dignity and care is my top priority. I can be proud to say this because I took care of my grandma until she passed. I then found my passion and made a career out of it.

I'm a 39 year old woman i have 9+years in being a caregiver what attracted me to being a caregiver is my grandmother when she became ill i instantly got into the health field.the thing that i enjoy the most about being a caregiver is just building a bond between me and the patient .and i love to make the patients smile a personal achievement that I've made is one of my patients when i first started working would never talk to anyone and a cou of days after i had started she opened up to me and started talking

My passion at caring for others is what makes me be a great caregiver. Caring for my mom who was born with a mental disorder drew me to patient care because she chose it as a career despite her health status. I'm a fast learner, enthusiastic, dependable, highly motivated, hardworking, energetic and outgoing. I am also performance driven and patient focused that has excellent communication skills to achieve high levels of patient satisfaction. In October I will have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 10 years. Over the past decade I have leaned so much about myself realizing I'm very compassionate and truly care about the patient's well being. I'm so blessed and grateful that when I wake for work I look forward to helping the patient regain their independence by being their source of encouragement. Throughout the years I've realized I'm one of the few caregivers that didn't chose to work in the healthcare field for the salary. I choose this as my career because I know I have so much to give and offer not just to the patients, but also my coworkers. When I first started working in the hospital a patient thanked me for helping them with something simple and as I walked away my eyes filled with tears. When I was out of the room I dried the tears from my eyes and that's when I instantly knew that helping people in need was my passion. My ultimate dream is to be the caregiver that makes an impact in the patient's life while they're in the hospital recovering. I always make sure the patient is comfortable by going above and beyond by always remaining positive.

I am 18 years old, I am currently in school for medical assisting. I've never been a caregiver but want to become one. I am not sure if I have to have current experience for this company. But I am willing to learn anything and everything. The reason I want to become a caregiver is because I like to help people out in anyway I can and I also want to get my foot in the door and start somewhere in the medical field.

I became a caregiver six years ago when, my husband had a stroke and diagnosed with kidney failure. Like been a caregiver because I love taking care of elderly people, I was raised by my great grandmother. My personal achievement I make my client feel good about theirselves. I am a recently graduate of Brown Mackie College, my major is Medical Assistant, most of my clients are cancer patients, COPD, diabetes, asthma and dementia.

I became Caregivers because I have a passion for putting others first. Seeing someone with an intellectual disability able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life is enough to make it all worthwhile. I always wanted to be there for people,help people and create a bond on for someone in need. There is a lot of people out here that needs companionship, and that's the category that I fall in. And its called a helping hand, love, family and the other great words that you can think of.......

My name is Monica Copeland I have been a Caregiver for 20 years working on my own for 5years, I'm very passionate when it comes to elderly people especially Dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I feel that they need people to care for them love them and not take advantage of them, No I'm not certified but that doesn't mean I'm not qualified. I take pride in what I do and you will not be disappointed. My personal achievement is taking care of people in the past and still communicate with them and see their love ones that's special to me even after their family members have passed on they still consider me family. I really enjoy helping others. I became a CNA 15 years ago doing both long term care and home health care. I also have my Bachelor degree in health care manger. I have been trained with personal care of person and the social care also. I am able to help clean house and run errand if this would be needed. I am trained in medical administration if this is needed. Taking care of all ages is something I have always enjoyed.

I am Kind, Patient, dependable. I have a strong work ethic, enjoys being a team player and love helping others. Excellent communications skills and strong attention to details. Safety is my number one priority. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my love and nurturing personality towards others. I was given the opportunity to make a career change and I loved it. Very different but I love that I have the ability to help or to be of service to others. I like to think of it as a calling on my life. What I enjoy the most is how the residents reacts after you have helped them... Very fulfilling . I graduated from college with honors and I had a perfect attendance while attending for the two years that I was going.
