I am very passionate about helping people. I got into healthcare and being a caregiver when my mom got sick and I was her caretaker. I realized at that point that this is my calling in life. I love putting a smile on someone's face and making their day better no matter the circumstance. I am proud everyday to go to work and help those who need it and to make their day better.

I am a personal care aide with over 13 years of experience! I have worked private duty, in group homes as well as for agencies. I can assist both independent and sole dependent clients. The care I provide is very loving and personal. Being that I have a daughter with cerebral palsy, it allows me to be more passionate and patient with my work. I have open availability at the moment. I can also assist with housekeeping and cooking, as well as transportation to and from MD.

I have been in the medical field since 1976 and have always enjoyed taking care of people. I come from a medical family and it was natural to continue. I am currently a full-time health technician and am available Mon-Thurs after 3:00 PM, for a couple of hours at a time. I provide service in San Bernardino, Highland and Redlands. Cooking is my hobby, if you want someone to grocery shop and prepare delicious meals, I am the person for you!!!

I have been in some form of the medical field for 16 years. I am able to chart medications, updates on the patient's well-being, medications taken, and progress. I am BLS/CPR certified and have been an Emergency Medical Responder for 12 years. I enjoy caring for patients and just feel this is my calling as it's the only thing besides being a mother that just felt "natural" to me.

1) a friend's mother moved to town and she needed someone to give her showers. That is how I started. I fell in love with this woman that I was working with. My job grew into me living with her for a year, but I only give her showers again. 2) I never had any kids, I think I just enjoy nurturing someone that will accept it. 3) I lost 95 pounds. I gave up a 28 year drug addiction over 17 years ago. I stopped drinking 6 years ago. Probably not what you want to hear, but that is what I am proud of doing. 4) I am a 56 year old woman. I have a bird and a puppy dog. I am in AA and go to meetings almost every day. I go to church, I love my family very much, but my loves of my loves of my life are my pets. I just got through burying my ferret. I love Christian music and now I love the OLD movies. I live alone and I love my life! I want to work part-time 15 to 20 hours a week but no more. I think I am a great caregiver because I really care. I love the lady that I work for and with. I try to make her life a little easier and a little bit better while I am there. I love to spoil her in any way I can. I am kind and patient. I guess that I treat her as I would want someone to treat me if I were in her situation. My personality is a people pleaser. I am nice, sweet, caring, talkative, I love deeply, I tend to dote on the ones I love and have to be reminded sometimes to step back sometimes. That is me!

I have always loved helping people since I was a young child. As I got into my later teenage years I started taking care of my great grandparents and that when I knew I had a huge passion for caring for others who can no longer care for themselves. I've always looked at it as when we're young our parents and grandparents help take care of us , so we should do the same and take care of them when they need us the most. Some people don't have family around to do those things and that's where I come in and fill that spot as best as possible. One of my biggest achievements was with an old client; when I first started working for her she was just released from the hospital. She just had surgery on her foot and wasn't allowed to apply pressure and she would get so upset because she was used to doing things for herself, when she came home she was so weak and could barely stand to get out of her wheelchair. I had the next day off and when i came back on the third day she was home she had a little bit more strength ( HAPPY MOMENT!!!) , by the end of the week she was able to get up and out of her wheelchair and in her bed or chair by herself( of course i was right there next to her). I loved seeing how excited she would get from being able to somewhat do things on her own.

I have an outgoing personality, I've worked in the care giving field for over 17 years, including caring for my late Son who was 10 years old when his care needs started, I also helped care for my Grandmother. I am currently schooling for an OTA (Occupational Therapy Aide). I've always had the heart to care for others who needs assistance. I love filling their hearts with TLC, and I love being able to set the family at ease knowing that their loved ones are in good hands. I was once employee of the month at my very first Nursing Home job years ago and was recognized by the Therapy department of that facility for being most helpful. I have been a Certified Nurse Aide before and left the field for awhile to raise my family but the field has never left my heart.

As a care giver i strive for excellence and do my best to maintain a high level of care to all my patients. My goal is always to provide what their needs are to a good recovery.
