I consider myself a great caregiver because I have spent my life taking care of others. I have been a preschool teacher, a stay-at-home mom for 20 yrs, and cared for the elderly at different points in my life. I have recently completed school and earned my massage therapist license #69983. My focus is on the elderly, ill, and dying. I am in the process of starting my own End-of-Life Care and Palliative Massage/Pain Management business. In the mean time, I volunteer with Hospice. I have multiple clients whom I see weekly for massage. I sit vigil with those who are passing so they do not pass alone. I also work part-time at a board and care facility. I am organized, hard-working, level-headed, positive, respectful, compassionate, trustworthy, caring, willing to learn, and possess common sense. I really enjoy and feel very comfortable working with clients with dementia. The key, I think, in dealing with clients with dementia is patience, compassion, and respect, not showing your frustration no matter how many times they ask the same question, and helping to allay their fears, of which they have many. I believe empathy and compassion are absolutely necessary because, God-willing, we will all be old some day. I have a sincere love for and am grateful for each and every client. I have a true passion for helping and caring for those who have difficulty or cannot care for themselves.

I have been in the Caregiver field since I was 12 going to the Nursing Home with my mom. I guess it was my calling when the director saw me feed a resident they were having trouble with. Then on another occasion I was able to calm down a resident that didn't want to take his medicine. Every since then I have been in the field helping my elderly.

I have been a CNA for 10 years now. I have work in assisting living, nursing homes, private care and hospitals. Recently when I was working in the hospital I was in the oncology unit. Occasionally I would float to other units and that's where I mainly learned and got my hands on in different areas from assisting a patient to helping a bed ridden patient. I have enjoyed my field and really enjoy helping others. I'm working soon to go back to school for nursing.

I was a licensed CNA from 2004 to 2019. I became certified when I was just 17 years old and I have loved helping people my whole life. I have worked in skilled nursing facilities as well as in-home settings.
