I personally like being a caregiver for elderly people, because I find it to be very rewarding. I love helping people, and making someone's day. I like to do a variety of tasks in a day. I love doing a job where I can potentially make a difference in someone's life.

I believe that I am a great caregiver because I treat people the way I would like to be treated. With compassion and with care adding love! I believe when I took care of my mother, it was a privilege because not everyone can be a caregiver. I enjoy most about being a caregiver because I feel that it is rewarding on a daily basis. I enjoy it mostly because I feel that I can be helpful and patient. Overall, I treat people the way I would want to be treated.

I'm caring,compassionate, and I have a passion for working with the elderly. At an early age I began volunteering at the nursing home where my mother worked. I would help my mother assist residents on outings such as picnics,parades, fair,fishing trips and shopping. I like spending time and taking care of people. Helping them become rehabilitated if needed so that they can return home to their normal routine. I like being an active listener and assisting people with their needs. Hi, I am a mother of 3 wonderful children who are now successful adults. I work as a Health Care Coordinator with Humana. I love working with people and have a passion for life. I am a social worker by degree and have worked in the social work and medical field for my whole career. When I was in college I worked and put myself through college, one of my jobs was at a nursing home. I also did an internship at a hospital and with the dialysis center. I helped to take care of my mother in law when she was alive, kept her company, reminded her to take medication, eat and encouraged her to incorporate daily activities.

Since when I was a child I always has a high respect over elderly people. I took care of my grandfather at times when I was sixteen years old when he was not able to take care of himself during nights and weekends. I'm still a student at that time. I know by heart that I possess charism over elderly people. I easily get along with my patient and their families that around him. I always pity on people that needed help especially those who are Alzheimer and Dementia patients for they don't know what they're doing. I don't leave my patient it's my patient that leaves me when they are called by up above.
