They have amazing life stories, and I just really enjoy helping them . I have experience with memory care, medication assistance, and can provide references upon request. I am detail oriented, the smallest thing stands out to me. Example if someone is always smiling but then one is looking droopy or sad I ask questions. I have been a caregiver since 15 years old. My mom did it and when my grandma got sick I helped my mom care for her. She worked at an adult day care and I spend the summer with her. The smiles is what I wanted to see everyday. I would make a great care giver because I have a lot of patience when working with the elderly and I love hearing their story's of when the were younger. The thing I most enjoy about caregiving is that I get to spend time with people who are grandparents. I don't have mine any more and it's just a sense of having a "grandparent" around makes me happy they are there and that I get to help make their day hopefully go a little easier.
