Hello my name is Richelda. I've been a CNA for about 6 years now. I believe that my most valuable personality traits that help me be a great caregiver are kindness and patience. I love what I do because I get to help others and put a smile on their face. Not everyone has a family or someone to keep them comforted so that can get very lonely for them. I became a caregiver because I don't like how some of elderly's be getting mistreated by some caregivers. When my grandma was in this rehabilitation facility after her stroke the caregivers didn't treat her fairly, they abused her mentally. She would cry on how they treated her. This is very unacceptable. I believe it is your mission to provide seniors with high-quality care. I am very passionate about taking care of elderly people. Treat them how you would want your grandparents to be treated. I enjoy being able to help others and just being their companion. That can go a long way! I am proud that I was able to graduate from college and continue my education. That itself was a big achievement.

I'm a very patient and funloving caregiver who has over 5 years of experience taking care of rehab and elderly clients. I have a lot of experience with dementia and alzheimers clients, as well as many of the medical devices used today such as hoyers, mobility chairs, etc. I'm a very caring person which makes this job so special, and if I can bring just a little joy to someone's life its that much more rewarding.

I am a Navy veteran I was a Hospital Corpsman for 8 yesterday taking care of people in various setting. When I came home I worked for a home health company as well. I have been in the home health field for six years going on my seventh year the end of August. I have always have the heart to help others. I started my career and I fell in love instantly. The most rewarding aspect of this job is being able to be apart of individuals lives and hearing about their lives while growing! I have worked with individuals multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, Cereal palsy, and much more, from veterans, and individuals with mental disabilities.

I have over 25 years experience in the medical field of which 12 years I was a paramedic and then began my journey to bedside nursing. I have special training in advanced life support, emergency care, cardiac care, Palliative care and hospice. Ive worked with patients that have Alzheimer's, dementia, sun downers, traumatic brain injury, ending stage renal failure, colostomy, ileostomy, and behavioral health concerns. I'm a cancer survivor as well as a wife of a Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor that has a strong passion to help others. Hourly wage is negotiable based on hours of job.

I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate , kind and love what I do. I have been a caregiver for the last 20 years. My mother motivated me to get in this field ,as she had been diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of 65. Unfortunately she passed away at 67 , which will be 20 years this October. I raised by my grandmother, seeing her struggle around the house motivated me to help her in anyway that I can. She encouraged me to be respectful, honest and to never give up. I helped around the neighborhood with the youth and the elderly, I was a part time caregiver to a lady Name Viola, she depended on me to give her love, trust and a helping hand. I love to help others who are in need no matter what it is, sometimes just listening to someone problems or even achievements I'm always one phone call away. I move to Albany, Ga August 2019 to make a change in scenery, I transferred my career at Walgreens to the location up here. You meet all types of people, until one day I met a courageous, cheerful and loving lady, who was disabled it was something about her that I had to help her. She began telling me what she was going through and I couldn't do nothing but listen and the fact that she was blind everyone would take advantage of her I took her in for 3 months made sure she ate, shower, I brushed her hair made sure kept up with her medications, hygiene and we also went out to get her some fresh air. She told me That I was an amazing caregiver and others would love to have me in there presence. She said Ashley I may can not see but your energy is so pure. I'm here to give others that same kind of happiness. I live by the saying LOVE CONQUERS ALL

Hello, everyone! I'm Starlynn. Although I was born in Texas, I spent most of my childhood in Tennessee. Currently, I am attempting to earn my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from South University through their online program. I appreciate being able to bring a smile to people's faces, meditating, reading, being in nature, singing, and being among animals! To deliver extraordinary daily living care to all my residents while maintaining a cheerful and graceful demeanor is one of the personality traits and areas of competence that allows me to be a good caregiver! What drew me to a career in healthcare was my desire to help people. I've always had a generous personality, and I enjoy serving others. When I can provide a helping hand to another person that has the potential to make a positive difference in their life, I am filled with the deepest gratitude! As a caretaker, you will never experience a minute of boredom. The most rewarding aspect of my job as a caregiver, though, is seeing how kind and generous my patients and clients are. When I enter through the door, they make my job more enjoyable and give it more significance! An accomplishment of which I am very proud is that my patients can rely on me to offer them a lovely experience of care and companionship every time I am there. I am 36 and I've been working in the healthcare field since I graduated high school (15 yrs ago). Im honest, trustworthy, hard working and a great listener.As a child I've always wanted to help people, and I always said that I would be a nurse but Covid has showed me something different. I've always enjoyed working with my clients, and that's where I have found my place. I've learned to really listen and Learn ways of life as a caregiver/companion. I've broadened my horizons by going for my bachelor in healthcare administration, which will be completed in February. But I have to say being a caregiver/ companion is one of the best jobs ever.

I became a caregiver because it is my gift. My professional career began 20 years ago in the healthcare industry. When I was 19 my husband suffered a massive stroke. Hello, My name is Jenna McCormack and I have been a caregiver for about 13 years. I received my CNA license when I was in high school. My interest in caregiving first began when my grandparents became sick and I had felt after their passing I wanted to do something to help other people in their honor. I have worked in many settings of healthcare including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted livings and those with memory care. I also specialize in those who have suffered from strokes, heart attacks, TBIs and various other medical conditions. I am also working part time to go for a degree in occupational therapy. I currently live in Jacksonville with my husband who is in the marines, our son and two dogs. It always been my passion to serve and help others in the community as well as military veterans. What makes me a great caregiver is my love for people. I give the care to people that I would want my self. I became a caregiver because I want to show people in need that there are people who truly care and are not just in for a paycheck.
