What makes me a great caregiver?Well to start off I didn't actually know what I wanted to do with my life,I was 20 yrs old and clueless!I recieved a college program and started to look through it and saw CNA classes,thought to myself wow I can do this!Well that was 22 yrs ago.I have learned so much,gained so much from all my years in healthcare.I love knowing I just made a difference,I made someone happy even if I was with them for 5 minutes.I have experience in many areas of healthcare.Rehab,cardiac care,Alz/Dementia,Home Care,Spinal Cord injury,

My dad was going through a dying process and that's the reason I became a CNA. 2) I'm able to help not just the patient but the families as well. 3) when I know after I have leave the buildings and families they say great job when are you coming back. 4) I'm a very compassionate person and a team member.

I love helping those in need. I became a home health care aid because I want to provide great care and safety to elderly in need.

i am a loving and caring educator i recently took care of my grandfather who was accidentally paralyzed from the waist down who passed as well as my great grandmother who had dementia diabetes and was bed written i have a very special place in my heart for the old and young and i handle both with love and kindness :)

Ever since i was young, my older sister struggled with multiple sclerosis almost all her life. I didn't think of it as something odd or different. So for years, It was normal for me to assist her every needs and wanting to do more for her. Because of this, I wanted to help and care for others ; like my sister. What makes me want to be a caregiver is that there is some who still wants to live their life, despite of their conditions. They just want to live their life and i want to be there to make it easier for them. I love meeting new people and i',m very proud that i can bring a smile to their face.

I been a live in caregiver. For over 15 years starting with taking care of my neighbors down to taken care family members to private clients and the reason I love taking care people I like put a smile on there smile helping them feel like there still youthful. and to let them know that there still in control no matter. What age they are.

I am a 20 year old college student who love working in the medical field. I always knew I wanted to be a nurse at a young age because I use to help my grandfather who had a skin disease on his left ankle which caused him to pass later on. I also have a nephew that was born with a birth defect

What drives me to be a care giver really is my will power and genuineness of love. I love getting the job done and making an impact on people's life so that it can leave a mark on them the good way so that the person can always view me or remember as a person of kindness, dignity and heart. People in need is the ones that really needs you the most and it takes the right type of person, like me, to come around and seek whats to be done and how the situation needs to be handled. Nice firm, secure and friendly way of doing it. I really enjoy leaving the facility or just leaving the elder with a nice smile on their face showing me that they know it's people that still cares and that's the most key thing in life is to be happy or show emotion in a good way.

My name is chyanne I am 22 years old . I started my caregiving experience with Amada senior care which i have been working with for the last two years . I gain a caregiver certificate through another healthcare company in South Holland called "Caregivers". I still currently work at Amada senior care though .

Hello, my name is Janelle Hasan. I am a 22 year old care giver and CNA. What makes me a wonderful caregiver is that I actually care about the overall wellness of my clients and take pride in providing them with the best quality care while they are with me. I became a care giver because of my aunt who passed away from cancer. She had a care giver who did not genuinely care for her or her needs. I am a care giver because I believe that every client who needs care should have the best care possible and an overall positive experience each day. There are many things I like about being A care giver but what I like the most is being able to make my clients smile and laugh. Also, I enjoy talking with them and helping them to have positive experiences. A personal achievement that I am proud of is becoming a CNA this year, though I plan on continuing with school and ultimately becoming a Physicians Assistant.

I'm very patient with anyone I take care of. I know I would grow up to be like my residents so I try to take care of them as loving and caring as possible because I would love to be taken care of too like that. I am an empathetic and genuinely compassionate person who loves working with people in a home care setting, it is essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help and I love helping people. By showing both empathy and compassion, I let the person that I am caring for know that I care about them and want to do what they can to help them. I have patience when working with someone who needs home care. I put myself in the other person's shoes and see what it might be like to ask people for help. I am reliable and I believe that a great caregiver is someone that can be counted on to be there. If the caregiver says he or she is going to be there to provide home care every Thursday morning, then the caregiver shows up, unless there is an emergency. Those needing home care services need a reliable and dependable caregiver. I am also very trustworthy and flexible. I am prepared to go with the flow, so that I continue to provide good home care, even if a rigid schedule isn't being followed.
