Hello. I am a very compassionate individual with love and care for those in need. I was raised by my grandmother and she was and still is everything to me, when she beat cancer twice, the third time was bad and I assisted her with every need and whatever attentiveness she needed. Everyone needs someone and not everyone have that someone. I love working with people and have years experience doing so. My greatest accomplishment I am proud of is completing 4 degree plans. I have a masters degree, bachelor degree and two associates degree. I am very caring and compassionate.

I have found caregiving to be an incredibly rewarding job. I enjoy meeting new people and working with them to meet their needs and goals. I love being creative in my work to bring joy. Meeting home health professionals who worked for my grandmother is what brought me to caregiving. Seeing others taking care of my own family inspired me. My favorite part of being a caregiver is developing relationships with my clients and making their lives easier. Creating lasting relationships brings me happiness and makes me proud to know I've done a great job.

I love working with the elderly, it just brings me joy to be able to help them in their homes were they are most comfortable at. Since I was a child I always wanted to work in the nursing field I am currently going to school for my LPN. The company that I work for, all my clients love me, they say I am a great respectable worker and they appreciate me for everything I do for them which I love doing.

I'm an honest, empathetic, trustworthy person. I love to help make people feel better. Smiling and laughter are two of my favorite things. I'm patient and kind. I developed an exercise program at a nursing home. It was so rewarding to lead the group and see the progress some of the residents were able to make. A stroke victim was able to slowly increase her range of motion on the side that was practically paralyzed.

I consider myself a great caregiver, because I am very caring and compassionate. I became a certified nurse aide after helping take care of my elderly neighbor. It felt good to help care for her and I wanted to continue so I went to school and was certified. When I was caring for my neighbor, I remember she loved to eat ice cream and watch old black and white movies so once a week we'd eat ice cream and watch the movies together. Sixteen years later and I still love working as a caregiver.

Bubbly person who loves to laugh and dance. I've been taking care of people with my mom when she was working in home health care when I was younger which is what got me wanting to further my career in nursing. From working in the nursing field it taught me to have patience, learn to care for different needs, have better communication skills. I really find joy in taking care of others.

I started out early in my life working with the elderly. I got a co-op job working in a nursing home in the afternoons, as part of job training in high school. It was great getting hours to graduate and learning hands on care with the elderly. I found that I really enjoyed working with the senior population. I love being able to comfort those in need. Being able to make someone who's lonely, laugh along with showing empathy and really caring for individuals in need. Helping others is rewarding to me because you focus on others, and end up seeing how truly blessed your life is. As a caregiver I have grown to realize how just little simple things in life that most of us take for granted, are greatly appreciated by those in need. A hug, reading the newspaper to someone who loves to read, but can not see well, or just by saying hello and acknowledging that person is in the room. My personal achievements are my two kids, who have grown up to be great adults. Then it's my degree that I went back to school {late in life I might add} and did quite well back in school. I love to read, along with enjoying a good conversation with people in general.

The reason I have a heart of caring for people is due to my upbringing. I grew up in a home of love and respect for everyone. One of those caregiving times was of my grandmother while she remained home in her aging years. I am the youngest of 19 grandkids who all took turns taking care of her. I have always enjoyed serving others and knew the place for me was in the medical field. I am a caring, compassionate and loving person who cares for people in the way I want to be treated and that is with dignity and respect. I have always enjoyed taking care of our elderly and I believe that reason is due to taking care of my grandmother at an early age. I enjoy talking with them, listening to their life stories, taking in all their wisdom and knowledge about life. I raised 3 kids and now a grandparent and my greatest achievement are my family. My kids have grown up to be successful in their own ways and to know that puts a smile on my face and in my heart.

Hi my name is Contina Gray I have been a CNA for 20 years. My mother and aunt are handicap so given love and care to someone who is unable to do for themselves i love doing it. I have my associate degree I'm trying to get in Methodist School of Nursing.

I became a caregiver be cause my mother had a stroke and the family did not want to place her in a skilled facility. I like being a caregiver because I enjoy helping others who can't help there self. My achievement I had made was going to Illinois Central College and be coming certified. I live in El Paso and am buying a home. I have 3 younger children in the home with me and 2 adults. We are all very happy and I am thankful to have them in my life.

I am 24 I currently go to icc for my CNA , my traits are I get along well with others , I know how to handle people with care , and what's attracted me to being a caregiver is I've always wanted to work in the medical field giving back to others and helping. Ive been working in the health care field for about 6 years now. Whether its caring for family, family friends, and/or my residents at prior workplace. I enjoy being able to help my community in any way that I can. My prior workplace was group home for Mentally Disabled Residents. I would tend to their everyday needs. I currently work for a home health care company and care for elderly in their own homes with everyday needs. About Me: Im a smart, outgoing person. 24years old, I have my own transportation, I Love people, and children. I usually go above and beyond to help just about anyone. I'm a full-time mom of 1 child. My son is 4years old. I'm currently enrolled in college to get my CNA license. I do currently have my DSP certification. Im a hard worker, and dedicated to my job, son, responsible,and family oriented.

I have been a certified nursing assistant for 8 years and have had experience in both acute care in the hospital setting and long term care. I love caring for individuals on a one-on-one basis. It's one of the most rewarding experiences there is. I also have two children with a chronic illness (diabetes) so I am very experienced with monitoring blood glucose levels and insulin administration, and worked on a cardiac unit for several years so I am very aware of cardiac symptoms.
