I am proud to say I am a Certified Nursing Assistant I am also CPR certified. I've been working as a caregiver at Harbor Chase of Long Grove since I've graduated high school. I am currently a college student at Harper college. I am known to be a kind, energetic, sympathetic , patient caregiver. I love working with young children as well as the elderly . I am passionate about caring for every client of mine.

I'm an experienced caregiver who focuses on being responsible. I believe punctuality and transparency are paramount so I always excel at both. I'm communicative with whom I'm charged to care for as well as the family to ensure I understand the needs and expectations of all those involved. I love listening to people's life stories which is why I'm partial to working with the elderly. I am a mother of 7 kids, I have been caregiving and providing direct care for 25 years. I just moved to Wisconsin from Illinois. I have worked in pretty much all fields as far as activities, Dr. Offices, caregiving, and supervisory. I have maintained my CNA cert since 2012 as well as my MA cert since 2014. I pride myself as empathetic, caring, thinking outside the box, friendly, and dependable. I am first aid and CPR certified.

Why Care-giving is important to me ? I had been taking care of my own Grandparents for several years, I would absolutely want someone to treat my grandparents or parents right. I have a lot of respect for the elderly and also have of experience with bed changing, transfers, toileting , gator belt, light cleaning and meal preparation .

My name is Sterling a certified nursing assistant (CNA), and also a caregiver. I have been working in both fields for over 6 years now, and have learned a lot in working in both nursing facility and in home. I was also a caregiver to my grandmother before she passed away, and that attracted me to care for others. I am a kind, compassionate and caring person who loves taking care of others. I am a certified CNA and have been since 2009. I worked in Oncology/Hospice for 3 years at NCH and loved it. I wanted to further my education and decided to go back to school to become a phlebotomist. I cant think of a better job for me, but often reflect on my time as a caregiver in Oncology and although it was very difficult at times, I know it was my calling.

I have experience in taking care of elderly by bathing, preparing meal, light housekeeping, medication, taking to the doctors appointments, keeping seniors alert and engaged. Iam a loving, patient , tolerant and very kind person. I started care giving after I lost my grandmother. She's the first person I took care of and watched her depart. Caregiving reminds me so much of her and it makes me feel like I have another chance at looking after my late grandmother . I get peace and satisfaction from feeling iam doing my best and all I can ,that I didn't get to really slow with my own.Caregiving makes me feel like being of great help and Patience to a client, makes my grandmother happy. and proud of me.
