I started providing care when I was just a teenager. My grandfather became ill and was diagnosed with cancer. He had always been my hero so of course seeing that he was cared for properly was a given. I am what some people refer to as an old soul, I love to listen to the stories of the older generation and how things were when they were growing up. It's a good way to understand history. In my opinion the world today and the younger generation don't appreciate the lessons and memories that can be shared by the people who lives were a part of the world we live in today. That's why I think my greatest achievement in life is the fact that I still make it a point to be friends with the elderly people in my neighborhood and visit with them as often as I can.

As a Caregiver and a registered Home Health Aide since 2011, I take great pride in my work and in my clients and their families as well. I work hard to ensure my client is always comfortable, safe and well taken care of. I am very reliable, punctual and trustworthy. As a Christian I hold true to my beliefs and take those values with me to work. I have my own reliable transporation. I have insurance and am comfortable with ALL pets. I do not smoke and I like to use up all my time properly and adequately when on the clock. Basically, to put in another term...I get stuff done. I do not just sit there on my phone and pass time by. I am a great caregiver because I'm honest, loyal, patient, and very dependable. I am someone that can be counted on to be there. I have natural urge to care for people. I worked for Heaven Sent home care for a year and had 3 clients of all different needs including mobility issues, on oxygen, etc. I was to clean thwir house, give medication reminders and be a companion which is one of the mosmost important parts about being a caregiver. I love to play cards, clean and even just talk if you want to. I'm an excellent cook and could definately assist with meal prep. I worked in the restaraunt industry for 5 years so I definately know more than the basics!

When I was a young girl I used to visit my great grandmother in a Nursing Home. I remember I used to get so upset because she would always be lying in bed with a soiled diaper, food on her face from the previous meal and just neglected. I didn't like seeing her that way. When I was old enough I became a CNA . My great grandmother was my motivation. I devoted myself to learning all that I could about being a CNA and caregiver. Helping others who are ill and in a vulnerable state live the best life they can with dignity is my mission. I am passionate about what I have been placed on this earth to do and that is to serve those who are unable to care for themselves. That is what I am most proud of and what I enjoy the most.
