In 2014 I moved from Fort Worth, TX to Chicago, IL to help take care of my elderly grandfather. Working with him, I realized this was a direction I wanted to take in life. I love helping those in need. I have great empathy, I'm patient, and honest. Now that I've decided to go to school for Nursing, I am also educated. It might seem simple, but I am proud of how the doctors and nurses respond to me when I am with my Grandfather. One doctor asked me advice for his Grand daughter, because he is getting old and he hopes his Grand daughter will take care of him the way I do with my Grandfather. I also work with a family who asked me to take care of their elderly matriarch. I was honored since they live in Kentucky and she is in a Nursing home in Flossmoor. I am confident, humble, accessable and willing to help.

I'm very compassionate about someone I'm caring for, making sure they're safe. I'm attracted to being a caregiver due to me taking care of my mom who suffered from dementia. I enjoy making sure the resident is ok. Also making sure they are most comfortable as possible. Whether it's grocery shopping, errand running, having easy conversation or getting icecream on a sunny day, I make sure that my clients are not only having fun, but is treated the way I'd want someone caring for my family!
