My passion in life has always been to help people, I started caregiving 4 years ago and absolutely loved it, my desire to be there for others and be a great companion revolves around making their lives easier and more enjoyable. Fulfilling every need and providing what a company or nursing home can't. I am great at communicating and making an atmosphere that is warm and comfortable. I'm an active learner and will work to get only the best results with sincerity and integrity. People want their loved ones to be in the hands of someone who is more than capable to responsibly care for them as they would and better.

My expertise is that I been in the healthcare field for 9 years. Majority of my experience come from working in short and long term facilities. Plus I have experience working in the hospital setting. Being an caregiver is a passion for me and plus I was annointed to care for a sick sibling. Being able to help some in the time of need is a passion of mines and I enjoy being their for others . A personal achievement of mines was finishing my degree and working towards my second degree in nursing.

I originally started being a caregiver at 16 years old, I developed a passion for caregiving and have a total of 8 years experience specializing with dementia/ Alzheimer's . At 18 years old I lost my mother to type one diabetes as well as my grandmother due to heart failure. I promise to make them proud and continue gods work to help many other families. I have experience with Parkinson's, Assist with hospice care, paraplegics or heavy lifting assistance, traches, straight cath, indwelling, wound care, feeding tubes, colostomy bags ext. I provide safe , dependable care, in a professional manor making families feel at ease. I believe you care for those who once cared for you. I work two jobs and take care of my 80 year old Grandfather who is also in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. I love meeting new families and providing unconditional love and care to fit your family members needs. I strive to be detail oriented to help patients strive to the fullest so they don't decline; Giving them a comfort and joy to their life as I would for my own family member.

I'm a friendly, passionate, patient person that loves to help people, and i have a soft spot in my heart for seniors. I am attracted to caregiving because I know I will want the best for my parents when that time comes. I took care of my grandmother in her final year battling brain cancer. I also helped my best friend take care of her mom during her final year of battling cancer. I provided transportation to chemo and doctor appointments as well as companion care.

I became a caregiver because i love the interaction and the ability to bring and be the happiness in someones life. as many families don't come around often and to be able to be an assistance in someones everyday life. I like meeting new people of all ages and providing them the care that they can no longer do themselves. A personal achievement for me is nursing my mother back to health she took ill shortly after i graduated from high school and she still wanted me to leave for college. So i did but i came back every chance i had to take care of her, she couldn't do the things she used to such as cook,clean, wash herself etc. and now in this present time she is back healthy walking and talking doing everything a mother and a newly made grandmother should be doing. I am a 20 year old college student majoring in biology this is my 3rd year i am on my way to becoming a family doctor. I love the outdoors biking, walking, softball, swimming etc. I am an outgoing person with a unforgettable personality.

I became a Caregiver because I grew up with a little sister with Cerebral Palsy who just lit up my day. She could not talk but the smile she would give you melted my heart every time. She taught me to appreciate the small things in life and accept each person for who they are in and out. I love meeting new people and learning about what makes them who they are. I love the being that person that touches a special place in someone's heart. Being a Caregiver comes so effortlessly because that was what I was always supposed to be, it is like second nature to me. I had a son when I was young, my biggest achievement was him and being the best mommy I could be, he was just six months old when my sister passed away so I had to teach him how to accept each person for who they are. It is amazing to watch him grow up and see me in him when it comes to the care he gives to people with out giving it a second thought, it Is more special to see because I am the one who brought him up to be such a caring person. I attended college and pushed threw having a new born and finally got a degree May 2014. Although it is only in General Studies, it shows the commitment I have to something and finishing it. I am proud that I earned my degree and more proud that I am still attending school to better my self and my family.

The best part about being a caregiver is that you learn something new from everyone that you meet. No matter someone's age, they can teach you a thing or two if you're willing to listen. 3. I decided to become a caregiver because I know how it feels to have a sick loved one. I am compassionate and empathetic to how the client feels and do everything in my power to make sure they feel comfortable and at home. If I can make someone smile and have a moment of joy, then I know that I am doing what God has chosen me to do. I care deeply about people and I know that even something as small as asking about their day can have a positive impact on how they feel.

I am a caregiver because I love being an advocate for others. I have been working with special needs adults since October of 2014. I love my job that I have currently, but the individual will soon be moving so I must find someone else in need of a great caregiver!

Hi there! My name is Sonja. I am a recently retired respiratory therapist. I worked as a respiratory therapist for 20 years and absolutely loved my job, especially the patients that I worked with. Most of my patients are elderly. I enjoy working with that particular population. I am loving and compassionate about the people that I care for. I love animals as well. I have 3 amazing rescues, 2 dogs and a cat.

I've always wanted to have a life where I help others. I started my career as a caregiver towards children in a daycare facility. I am currently a Community Living Service caregiver through the city of Troy. I want to expand my experience and knowledge as a Caregiver. I am enrolled at Macomb Community College and plan to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I love being a caregiver because I like making an impact on peoples lives. My greatest achievement is boosting the self-confidence of others and having them enjoy my company.

First of all, I become a caregiver after I had Lost my mother and being in a situation were your mothers sick and as a child can not help was like unbelievably as well as devastating. Secondly, I like to connect with the client and their needs as well as there companionship in a time where they need someone to talk to. I came into the medical field because I wanted to make a difference in this world. I love what I do and I love hearing about the life stories seniors share. with that said I have taken many different types of training classes to become a med-tech cpr and first aid certified I am also M.O.R.C trained.
