Being a caregiver has always been a huge part of my life. When I was very young girl my mother had two strokes. I took on the role of being my mother's care giver at age 13. After I graduated high school, I knew that caring for people is what I loved, and was one of my special talents. My favorite part about being a care giver is being able to help someone else in their time of need. I feel extremely empathetic towards people who were not blessed with good health. A personal achievement I am proud of is my grade point average in college. I managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA for my whole freshman year of college. Most of my time is spent taking care of my parents, studying, and practicing meditation.

I am a dependable and compassionate caregiver. I have been working in home care sense my sophomore year in high school where i was taking alternative nursing classes. I pride myself onto quickly learning new people and can adapt to any situation. I have assisted clients with daily living activities , bathing , medication reminder , any hands on care. I make sure i connect with my clients. I can also assist with laundry and house keeping. I have assisted cancer patients , PSP , dementia , hospice and much more . I am certified in CPR and going to school to be a pediatric nurse. I look forward to the opportunity to work with ur family!

Caregiving provides me with joy and satisfaction in knowing that I can make a positive difference for someone else. I am a mother of three teenage sons and I was an elemenatary and middle school teacher for 20 years. I left my career as a teacher during the pandemic when my family and I decided to make a lifestyle change. We are from the Metro Detroit area, but we decided that our cottage in Northern Michigan is where we are all happiest. In 2021 we officially made East Jordan our home and it was the best choice we could've made.

I love helping others in need. I have been a Home Health Aide for 7 years and in that time I have worked in nursing homes, assisted living, and for families doing private care. I truly enjoy helping to brighten someone's life and give their family piece of mind in knowing they are in good hands.

I became a caregiver by caring for my mother after her numerous operations. I found I had a knack for care giving and I find satisfaction in helping others. My best personal achievement would be that I raised my daughter as a single parent. She is a great person. The best thing about myself is that I love animals.

I became a Caregiver in 1989,because I've always enjoyed being around the Seniors,they seem to always have a smile on their face,and have great stories to tell about their life... What I like most about being a caregiver is being able to help keep them in their home,with some assistance.I enjoy spending time with them,usually because their loved ones are to busy,or out of state... Of my many achievements,the one that stands out is,the seniors seem to feel very comfortable with me,It seems I'm taken in as their family member,which is a huge compliment to me. I take my time with my clients,listening to them,as to what they need in their home. having patience with the seniors is a must.Lending a hand when we're up walking.I enjoy when the Senior men tell me their war stories,their face lights up.I just love being a caregiver,I'm very passionate about this business.And when they have a pet,I always enjoy taking their pet for walks,hopefully with them also.

Hello my name is Courtney, I am young energetic & outgoing. I love trips to the park & reading books. I am a college student but due to the pandemic all my classes our online. I am looking to build relationships as well as help with everyday life tasks such as bathing, medication reminders, meal prep, transportation and much more.

I became a caregiver very young you can say. I helped take are of my mentally ill cousin when I was younger. I never felt she was any different from me. What I like about being a caregiver is helping someone else life better by just being there for them. My personally achievement is always putting a smile on someone faces who's having a bad day. I'm an only child so I love helping and being around others.
