I became a caregiver because I love being able to help those in need of assistance and who are unable to do for themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is, knowing that I a am who families depend on to take care of their loved ones. I love being able to interact and putting smiles on my patients face. A personal achievement that I am proud of is, dedicating my time and effort into completing my CNA and continuing on into completing my RN. 1 .I became a caregiver because I was always helping my brothers when they were little with cuts, scrapes and scratches, I am the oldest, and I choose to go into the healthcare field to help others. 2. When I was working in special education with disabled children and one little guy Darryl with autism remembered me working with him on a one on one and drew me a picture of a lady on a island. 4. I am currently a mom of three. I work part time at first health Moore regional as a phlebotomist . I am also a registered with the state of North Carolina EMT as well as a state registered CNA . starting the fall I will be starting nursing School I am mate basically looking to do drop in care in the evenings from 3 to 8 PM and pretty flexible in the evenings.

I am humble, compassionate and love what I do as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I chose to learn about medical terminology during a difficult time in my life. Caring for people has been my job for fourteen years now wouldn't change it.

Providing excellent customer service to patient and family, loyalty, and being dependable which are some of the many reasons I consider myself a great caregiver. I'm compassionate and patient to all my patients' needs making sure I communicate with the patient and family ensuring proper medication and care guidelines. Growing up observing my grandmother care for her mother in home inspired me to become a caregiver not only to my family but to other families as well. I wanted to be great and successful at this so I decided to get the proper education needed for Alzheimers and Dementia and how to cater to their needs. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the smile I leave on my patient's and family's face after my work has ended that shift. Receiving my certificates in the health field, becoming dependable and reliable to those that are in my life work related or not.

I love to help and encourage people who are disabled in anyway , because of my compassion and love for others. I do not classify this work as a mere job, but an assignment of love ;a matter of the heart. I enjoy seeing my client happy and very satisfied with their level of care. I am truly a patient centered caregiver, my goal is to be sure that they are well pleased with their care.

I have an amazing personality, I'm a sweetheart to the core. I love helping people, especially the eldderly and babies. I am attracted to being a caregiver because, I will make sure everything is done the way its supposed to be, as well as my patient will always be satisfied with me. I'm a mom to one teenage daughter. I've always felt the need to care for people. I took care of my great grandmother and my grandparents. I was also an EMT years ago.

I was born and raised on the East Coast in a big family; when I was about 6 years old, my ailing grandmother came to stay with us. As a young kid I got the chance to help care for her and make her feel loved as she suffered through breast cancer for 5 years. Although she passed away, she left me with a love for nursing and taking care of those in need that lasts with me to this day. In every patient interaction, I strive to bring that same love and sensitivity into the room and *hopefully* brighten someone's day!

She was homeless and SS was taking her child away. I agreed to take complete care of the child and help the mother as much as I could so she could keep her baby. Now she is back on her feet and doing well. I did not receive any awards or anything but it felt like a achievement to be able to help someone in such need. 4. I am compassionate, caring person by nature. I was drawn to caring for others at a very young age, my childhood dream was of being a nurse. I have been a companion, where my duties were to simply watch over and interact, have been an in home caretaker. My experience encompasses both in home care, hospital care and assisted living care. I am honest, trustworthy and dependable. I have cared for stroke, dementia and cancer clients. I find that people of all ages are interesting and deserve the utmost respect.

It is important when providing home care that the caregiver is attentive to the needs and changes that are taking place. By being attentive, That I will notice when there are emotional or physical changes in the person that I am caring for.You enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel I can get along well with a variety of elders. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in my attention to detail. I don't want a desk job; I like being physical in my job and using my body as well as my brain. I am seeking a career with growing opportunities. Making a connection with my resident / patients when I step into the room they light up.

I have 22 years RN experience in medical and surgical nursing in the hospital setting as well as 8 years in home health and hospice. My assessment of subtle changes in a client's condition and comfort in providing care in homes is a bonus to my basic caregiving skills of safely bathing, transfering, and interacting with clients of all ages and debility. You wonder why I am not looking for a RN job? I no longer want to deal with the endless paperwork and little actual client contact involved with nursing today. However, I am a caregiver at heart and still want to serve people, especially the elderly, who need assistance. My personality is respectful and somewhat reserved, but i enjoy listening and talking about family, life experiences, etc. I have done much work with and continuing education regarding people with dementia, behavioral challenges, and mental disorders. I do only want to work part time for now.

My personality traits are being very patient with my patients and taking my time with them to make sure their needs are met and being very compassionate.
