I am very dependable, patient and caring. I have worked in health care for a few years. I became a caregiver because I love helping people. I enjoy being able to assist patients with activities they may need some help with. I love being able to put a smile on my Patients face.

Ten years ago I moved from NY to Georgia where I started my first job as a caregiver. I worked in a assisted living facility where we had 30+ residents on the assisted living unit and 15 residents in the dementia unit. That's where I found my passion with working with people with needs and since then my jobs have been based on who I can help. I enjoy being a caregiver most to be able to help someone it warms my heart to help others. I currently personal shop once a week for a elderly neighbor that is disable and home bound. I met him while I was working as an Instacart Shopper and was asked if I could run an errand. Without hesitation I did it and when I got back he asked for my phone number so I could personal shop for him and I agreed its been 1.5 years.

I grew up in an "old school "Italian family and good hearts and souls are in our blood. I have taken care of all ages throughout the years and met so many amazing people. Hello my name is Adaiah Francis I am 21 years old I have three beautiful children i currently live in Sicklerville New Jersey . I became a care giver in the year of 2015 , I wanted to be able to help those in need because when I was just starting high school back in 2012 my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer which she recently passed in 2017. I was there to witness and watch and along the way I met some caring caregivers also nursing has been in my family for years so this is a start for me I really enjoy taking care of those who need it .

My personality traits that I think would make me a good caregiver are patience, always very helpful, determined, as well as very dedicated. What attracted me most about wanting to be a caregiver was watching my grandmother grow older through time, needing assistance and help and needing someone she can trust to be there through these times opened my eyes to how everyone would want their older loved one to be taken care of. I enjoy helping residents because knowing that I can be someone they trust with helping them with any and everything makes me feel good as a person, because I believe everyone should be comfortable at all times despise what they go through knowing they can be themselves and enjoy the help makes me happy knowing I'm doing my job right.

Becoming a caregiver have allowed me to explore my dreams and aspirations. Growing up I have always enjoy helping other in a time of need, so being a caregiver I was able to demonstrate my desire to help people. As college student who strives for the best at everything I do I have achieved many different things in life. As a young adult I am involved in many different programs that helps youth and the elderly citizens to stay motivated in our community. I have been a caregiver all of my life. From taking care of children to taking care of Seniors. It is always been a passion of mines to give back. That is love, compassion and letting someone know that they are safe.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I've done this kind of work for over 15 years for my parents who lived with me and it was my desire to extend this care to them. It made them happy to know that they could stay at home and be given the best care in their senior years. When they reached the point of not being able to do for themselves I was able to provide the care that was needed up until their final days. Now that I'm at a crossroad of deciding to make a career change I chose what I have a passion to do and that is in helping others to remain in their safe and secure home environment and get good care. I became certified and now I can extend my services to others. My greatest accomplishment is staying true to the work I love that gives me such a great sense of accomplishment when I'm able to lend a helping hand and it doesn't seem like work. It's being a blessing to others while using it as my vocation.
