I chose to become a Caregiver because I have a passion for helping others, including the sick, disabled, and elderly. I am very patient and I take my time to make sure my patients have everything they need. I take pride in keeping my patients well groomed, clean, shaven, and comfortable at all times. I currently work in long-term care and I am happy to say that my patients look so happy when they see me come on shift and are excited when they find out I am their nurse. I am CPR certified and trained to respond. I am also IV certified. I am an LPN and am also currently going to school to become an RN so that I can help my patients, even more.

My personal traits that help me be a great care giver is Empathy. I have the ability to feel what others are thinking and feeling at some point. Being a caregiver always been my career since a young child. I also wanted to be a RN registered nurse, wanting to follow after my aunt, my mother sister. I enjoy comforting the consumers/clients, making them happy and being there for them. My personal achievements were when I graduated from High School and getting my Certification for nursing..

I love what I do and I learned how to have a lot of patience. Taking care of my grandma made me what to help people . Being a caregiver is a hard job but knowing I took care of someone to the best of my ability makes me so happy . Most important is putting a smile on my residents face. Never giving up on them .
