Ever since I can remember I've always wanted to make a difference and help people. Being in this line of field is exactly what I'm looking for. So many people need help or assistance or just even you being there for them. Knowing I can help make someone's day easier and to just be there for them is what motivates me. I really love taking care of others, it is my calling. I always knew I wanted to work with the elderly sometimes there families cannot do everything and need help and that's why I'm here. I am very talkative once you get to know me, my friends and family would saying I'm very lovable, sweet, kind, caring, dependable, hard working. I am very proud of the woman I am becoming from graduating high school early to going to college and getting my associates to finally working with people I can take care of. I always treat my clients with respect and take care of them as if they were my family.

Hi there, I'm Monica. I have been in the healthcare field since 2005. I started as a CNA at St. John's Home where I worked on the night shift for 4 years. Since 2009, I have been doing Private Home Care as an Aide. My CNA certification has lapsed as of 2011. I have cared for people with all different disabilities and ailments, such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Cancer, MS, etc. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is making residents laugh and enjoy their lives, while assuring they get the best care.

I am very dedicated to home care , I've been doing this type of care work for 5+years now. I was fresh out of high school and enrolling into college , when I first became a certified Personal Care Aide. She became ill and I've watched how her health started to decline . I stepped up more in my youth age to help her out . I started to realize my grandma really needed more support in caring with her daily life goals . Ever since the times I stepped up to help my grandma out in her home that became a thought that I truly like to work in the community with others .

I have been in the human service field for 19 years. I have provided care for Elders of all backgrounds and still keep in touch with families of ones who have passed on. I love being a provider and helper although I am finishing my degree in social work,I don't want to walk away from this part of the helping field. I am a 49 year old woman who has raised eight children who are now all adults. I have always had a passion to take care of people from a tender age of seven years old. I was the caregiver for my younger brothers and sisters, my elderly grandmother, my sick mother and for my former husbands who had terminal diseases. I'm great at what I do and I love what I do, which is take care of others.
