Hello, my name is Tsashana Robinson. I'm a nursing student at Monroe Community College, going into my second and final year. I have a passion for nursing and working with patients, with over 3 years of experience working in the field. I'm also currently pregnant and expecting my first child. I'm therefore seeking something that I can do part time until the baby arrives and continue after giving birth. I'm very hard working and passionate about what I do. I look forward to building meaningful relationships which whomever I work with.

I currently just moved from NY and feel I'm meant to help people better them selves. I've been a caregiver for 5 yrs and have loved every moment of it! My proudest moment is knowing I'm helping people, to help them stay independent. I just got my CNA in may.

I became a care giver because i love helping others and i would help take care of my grandmother when she had gotten her leg amputated. i love being a caregiver because the elderly trust me and look up to me to help them do their every day life battles that are challenging for themselves. My personal achievement that i am most proud of is walking the stage as an M CC graduate with a degree to help further my assistance on helping others. The thing about me, I can adapt to any situation good or bad and i can be honest and stern, and my presence brings light and happiness to older peoples faces. I love interacting with the elderly, because my grandmother has passed in 2002 and i was a certified nursing assistant for over five years and every person i took care of reminded me of my grandmother.

I became a caregiver because it sparked my interest when a friend of mine told me about her job in Healthcare and how she couldn't see herself doing anything different. Now that I am a caregiver, what I enjoy most is learning from my clients. One thing I am most proud of is the more patience I developed over the 4 years I've been caring for others. Healthcare teaches you to be self disciplined and mindful of the client in all aspects of their care. That's who we are really here for and without them I wouldn't have been able to experience all of what I have at such an early time in my life. One thing a perspective client & family members should know about me is that, I find it essential and a priority that I get to know my client. I say that because the only way I can come close to meeting expectations is if I know my client.

During my nearly 10 years working with hospice and end of life patients, I feel I have a greater understanding and compassion for those who are acutely and chronically ill and those facing an end of life illness or long term diagnosis. My strongest traits are honesty, dependability, compassion and integrity. Patients have taught me some of life's most important lessons and I'm grateful to each individuals who entrusts their care to me and allows me to assist them at a difficult point in their life.
