Hello my name is Tatyana, i have been working in health care for over 5 years, i am very compassionate and love to put a smile on others faces which would be the one thing i enjoy the most about being a care giver . What attracted me to being a caregiver is the difference i can make in a person life.

I love helping people and have been 'in the business' of helping people for most of my life, which encouraged the obtaining of my social work degree. I have a background in caring for children with mental illness and special needs, as well as adults with mental illness and special needs; both populations were in congregate care facilities and community residence settings, as well as independent living in the community.

I have always had a desire to make a career out of caring for others. My dream was to be a doctor I wanted to save and help as much people as I can. Hi my name is Traci and I've been a caregiver for the elderly and disabled for over 20 years. I've had other jobs but I'm always drawn back to the elderly. I enjoy sitting and chatting with them, they're so full of information..... Like walking dictionaries! I have worked with many different diagnosis over the years, my schedule is flexible and I'm very dependable.

I chose to become a caregiver because I needed a job and I watched my mom do for 18yrs so thats part of the reason I became a caregiver. I've been a caregiver for 7yrs, the most rewarding part about this job is the relationships you develop with the clients you care for. The clients I've worked with over the years have taught me helped me to develop more patience, compassion and being more openminded. This feild of work is rewarding in so many ways besides making good money. You develop and posses a lot of good characteristics traits and long lasting relationships and a friendship with some of the clients you work with. In the end its well worth it.

I was my grandmother/mothers caregiver for many years. Unfortunately, in January 2022 she passed away and it left me feeling like a piece of me was gone. I started working with Papa Pal and felt by caring for the elderly brought me close to my mom again. I feel learning about people likes and dislikes helps make the days together go smoother. And just knowing about there history and there past not only is amazing but it gives us a lot to talk about on a daily basis. I am also patient, kind and caring. I'm not a push over and I tend never to argue with any of my patients. I listen to my clients and to facial expression and the body language . All together they tell me things so I am able to communicate to family members and doctors more proficiently. I am also considerate, honest, trustworthy and a very punctual care provider .
