I decided to become a care giver when I was young and I seen first hand how nurses and cna helped my mom when she was very ill. I enjoy having the opportunity to impact clients’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. My goal is to make the client and family comfortable as possible by very attentive to their needs. I am a very dedicated and loyal person, I believe in being on time, listening to my client needs.

I am a very out going person. I get along well with others. I grew up in a home where my mother was constantly helping children through foster care and daycare and this instilled the need to help people. I am currently enrolled in college to become a R.N. and will hopefully become a nurse practitioner .

Prior to working in direct care, I worked professionally as an Administrative Assistant in the healthcare field and an Unit Secretary at a well known nursing facility in Beachwood, Ohio. Experienced in working with clients who are recent hospital discharges, Alzheimer's, dementia, incontinence, stroke, PT, and hospice. Household Management Experience: maintaining calendar, scheduling and dealing with trades, vendors and contractors, procuring equipment, supplies and services as well as doing general cleaning, laundry, errands, organize and manage household inventories and budgets. Worked in private estates, nursing homes, assisted living, and independent living facilities.

I have been told that I am a great listener, compassionate, and understanding. In addition, others have given me exceptional feedback on how well I can multi-task, organize and maintain a friendly attitude while doing so. I have worked mostly with children in the past, as a nanny, caregiver, as well raising 4 children. However, I have many elderly friends and very much enjoy their wisdom and company along with the pleasure to be able to assist them with whatever they may need. This has led me to thinking it would be a great job for me to have! Who doesn't appreciate a job they can enjoy? My favorite thing about caring for others is the contentment and relief they receive from my company and/or assistance. I also simply adore being around people, I am an extrovert and by nature I am a helper. I am most proud of my children. I have 2 beautiful, wonderful boys who have been nothing but a Blessing to me! I have a very calm demeanor which makes people feel comfortable and relaxed around me. I am a very patient person & I love to take care of people in need! I enjoy making people happy around me especially clients that are going through depression. As a caregiver you actually develop caring feelings for the person you're caring for. However, I'm proud to say I am medication certified and will be CPR certified very soon! Since I was young I had a passion for nursing. Out of HS I took the class to become an STNA and now I am currently in school for nursing to get become an RN. I became I caregiver because I am compassionate and concerned about the well being of our elders and the disabled.I enjoy the sense of relief and comfort that my clients show when I'm in their presence. A personal achievement that I am proud of is my will to continue my education in college. My personality and care for humanity in general makes my job not just a job, but a public service. I find myself helping elders and the disabled outside of employment in my community.

I've been a STNA for over 20 years. I love my job I love taking care of others providing good care as well as providing a safe place for my residents. I'm never late for work . I am a very outgoing person who loves to take care of people. I became a caregiver because I feel like I am a natural at it and I needed to be able to make some extra cash while in college.
