Hello My name is Laterria Pusha I have been a CNA for 6 years now. I started being a caregiver because I was suppose take care of my step father once he got ill but he never made it because he gave up and I wanted to make a change and let's peopl know it's still hope. Hello, I am a bright young energetic woman who loves to light up a room. I enjoy caregiving because it presents you with an opportunity to make someone's day better. You can laugh with a person and build a bond that grows everyday and you never feel as if your working. I have skills with elderly and infant patients so I can help with a wide variety of task including baths,meals, and companionship.

I believe I'm a great caregiver because I enjoy making others smile, and love to communicate. I understand that the elderly like their independence but still require some assistance. I was attracted to becoming a caregiver after sitting with my grandfather when he became ill to give my grandmother some time to fulfill other duties. Caring for others has always been a passion of mine. Not only am I great at gaining the trust of others, but I am a very reliable and dependable person. I enjoy helping people live happier and less stressful lives. My favorite part about being a caregiver is seeing someone accomplish something he/she never could before and seeing that person feel proud because of it. A person achievement I am proud of is maintaining a level of patience that is very uncommon these days, especially when it comes to assist those with intellectual disabilities.
