Hello my name is Miriam Adams. I am a Caregiver/CNA. At the age of nine, I realized that I wanted to a Nurse. I was very kind to the elders and was always inviting myself to help with bathing or go on errands to the community store. I never would accept the few pennies that were offered, because everything that I did came from my heart. I was never expecting to receive a reward. I am 68 years of age with plenty energy. My attitude is always pleasant. I process a positive attitude, kind, compassionate, and patient. I completed Trident Technical College CNA class in the year of 2002. My greatest achievement was to have the highest grade average in my class, in spite of me being the oldest person in the class. If I am hired, I can demonstrate the traits that are mentioned above.

Hello, my name is Christina Allen, I am a Certified Medical Assistant. Graduated c/o May 2009 Trident Technical College in North Charleston S.C. I was raised by my elderly grandmother, as a child she taught me how to care for her , she also taught me how to drive by driving her around town on errands etc. I learned at a very young age responsibility, discipline, patience and to have a caring heart. What I love about being a caregiver is the companionship and to just put a smile on my patients face, to know that I've made a difference in their life in some way , just makes me a happy person. I've always had a passion for helping others. I have been in the health care field for about 7 years now and I started on the administrative side. I had a zeal to do more. I soon began a career in dialysis as a Certified Dialysis Technician. My patients are like family to me. I make a conscious effort everyday to make sure they are better before they leave treatment. I know a lot of their struggles and it encouraged me to start my own Private In-Home Care business. I count it a blessing to be able to serve others, while leaving their family members with a peace of mind.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I genuinely care about my clients and there needs.What I love about being a caregiver is that I know I'm offering a great service to the family and clients as well. I have been a caregiver for over 10 years and my greatest achievement was finishing school and becoming a dialysis technician as well as a caregiver . I feel that my experiences working for the hospital and skill nursing assistant living and adult daycare have made me a very patient ,nurturing, and wise caregiver.

I have worked in various skilled nursing units in the therapy department for approximately 26 years and I love the population. Over this time, I have learned patience with various personalities and feel that I am a compassionate and caring person. Honestly, I am considering a personal caregiver position due to decreased full-time job opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. In general, I love working and taking care of people but absolutely love the elderly population. They have been my best friends since I was 10 years old.

I have several years of caregiving experience. I have patience, I am dependable, hard worker and reliable. What I love most about being a caregiver is make someone happy and being able to help them. My personal achievement I am proud of is being in nursing school.

I have been a substitute teacher for over 10 years, and have taught young children- some with special needs. In 2014, my now 94 year old mother came to live with my husband and me. She has developed dementia, and the amount of care she is needing has significantly increased. I feel that my experience working with children has made this transition a little easier for me.

Hello! My name is Alicia and I have been a CNA for about 5 years. I wanted to be a CNA after caring for my great grandparents before they passed away. Ive always enjoyed being around the older generation in my family since I was a little girl. I always loved hearing stories that my grandparents would tell me and had an interest at a very young age to helping others, especially my elders. This is why i chose this profession.
