Hello there! My name is Michelle and I have been caring for someone since I was in the 10th grade. (Years ago) I moved in with my grandmother, she had been a widow for about 3 years. She was suffering from depression, breathing issues and I know many more health issues that later claimed her life. Her living conditions weren't the best and she totally refused to go to the doctor. I arranged for her to move into an apartment which she enjoyed for about 2 years. I never thought that I would be working in this field. I originally went to school for administration careers. But to see their faces light up when you please them is why I continue to work in this field. Plus I have the satisfaction of knowing that care was administered properly. I have worked with the elderly, as well as, individuals with special needs. Very willing and ready to meet your families needs.

I became a caregiver at the age of 17 years old, I enjoy helping others feel comfortable and assisting with daily activities. I'm proud of making a difference in others lives. I am a highly motivated, energetic, and ambitious being who love others.

Hello family and loved ones. I am Alexander. I am punctual, personable, and energetic. I have training in how to manage dementia and feeding tubes. My mission is to promote wellness both mentally and physically with my clients with high-quality in-home care. I am a non-smoker and fond of pets. I am new to Carelinx but I am not new to the caregiving field. I have a little over 5 years of experience in caregiving and 7 years in healthcare in general. I am currently in college for my bachelor's in physical therapy. I am compassionate and empathetic. My calling is to care for those in need of an extra hand and at least bring a smile to their face. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals in daily task. I enjoy laughing and seeing others happy as well. I've worked home health so I was able to help others with small task as in transfers to and from bathroom, bed etc and also helped prepare meals if needed. I mostly perform exercises with patients to increase strength to perform activities of daily living but I'm willing to help achieve any goal with patients.

I was a CNA twelve years ago. I have my Associates degree for Medical Assistant. I am working on my Bachelors in Business with a Concentration in Healthcare Administration. I took care of my husband's grand parents as they become immobile as they quickly declined. I am tender hearted and treat others as I want to be treated.

I have a lot of patience and respect for those who are older than me. I always think of any elderly as family, I treat them how I would treat my own grandmother! I love getting to know my clients and learning a thing or two from them. After all, they have lived a longer life than I have. Graduating with my AS and 1 year left until I finish my BA.

I listen to client concerns, compassionate to one's feelings, respect their privacy and take care of their needs. I decided to have a career in healthcare because there's a great need for a caregiver or nurse for individual needs for each family. There will never be a dull moment and you'll always have a great job in the healthcare field.

I become a caregiver because I'm capable of delivering quality of care to the elderly. Giving quality of care is the most I like about a caregiver. Saving the life of one of my patient was my greatest achievement of which I'm very proud. My name is Pearline I have 14 yrs experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I have never been formally employed as a caregiver but, I have experienced first hand the hardships that disabled patients face. My mother was a cancer patient and I was her sole caregiver the last year of hear life before she passed. After a couple of bad experiences with home nurses, I decided to become her primary caregiver. Knowing she was comfortable and well taken care of was very comforting and rewarding for me. Working as a mental health technician has helped to also get a better understanding of disabled patients. I enjoy providing the help patients need. I strive to make all of my patients smile. I was born here in Savannah, Georgia. I am a mother of four beautiful children ages 19, 15, 12, and 6. In my spare time I enjoy reading and listening to music. My future goals are to secure my degree in Psychology and become a successful Clinical Therapist for adolescents and adults.

I became a caregiver because my father needed nurturing and consistent care. I like taking of others, being needed, and knowing that I am someone who can be depended upon. I love being able to give someone a better quality of life. I am proud of birthing and currently raising 4 kids. I aspire to be a registered nurse. I started my career as a CNA , because this is what I truly love to do more than anything else. I started out working as an EMT working on an ambulance and then became a CNA and then I started working in home care as a live-in caregiver for over 10 years. I enjoy working with the elderly.

I speak Portuguese, I sit and listen to anything in mind, I look for things before they appear at times. I ahve been a nurse's aide for 23 years.
