I am a reliable, outgoing, and experienced nurse caregiver. I have in-depth knowledge of disease processes and medication administration. The reason I became a nurse was to care for people but working in facilities I realized that it would not be possible to create a personal connection with patients. Working in the homecare field opened my eyes and I could have the best of both worlds.

I am a 30year old women who has had a heart for helping others for as long as i can remember. When I was growing up, I had to help my grandmother with my grandfather who had Alzheimer's. Growing up in that environment I got to meet amazing care givers and some really bad ones. The bad ones are what drove me to this life. I wanted to help people who may not always be able to help them self and do it with love & dignity and respect. I enjoy meeting new people and just helping them get through the day, The look on their face to know that you are there to help them even when they don't always want you there is everything to me because in the end, they appreciate you. I am just an all-around people person with an outgoing personality but have a small shy trait as well. I am always willing to help however i can if i can. Honestly for me my biggest personal achievement has been that i have never giving up on my goal of school it has been a really slow road but i am still pushing alone through loss of family, health concerns I keep going and who me raising my 2 boys.

1. I became a caregiver for the compassion I have to help others that can no longer care for themselves, partly or totally. 2. See the pleasure I give to my residents or clients. Knowing they look forward to seeing me. 3. I'm proud that I started towards farthing my education in the Nursing field. 4. I am currently looking for part time work as a CNA caring for clients. I very much like bringing companionship to each and everyone I care for, including their families. I have a sister who is MR, I have many years of experience, and patience caring for a love one and also others.

I have been doing home healthcare for 10 years, 2 years of hospital care, and 6 years working in pediatrics. Healthcare is my chosen career so I put lots of positive productive work ethics energy in what I do.

I want to become a caregiver because I witnessed they way my step-dad was treated by my sister and it did not sit well with me. The best thing I ever did was take over taking care of him I was allowed to spend his last days showing him how much I loved him and that he was the most important man in my life. The most important achievement in my life is being a mother to my children.

I enjoy carrying for those that can not care for themselves, I enjoy knowing that in someway I made a difference in someone else's live. I enjoy the learning aspect of being a caregiver. I am proud to know that I'm close to finishing nursing school. I honestly became a caregiver because I strongly believe in karma. When I am caring for my patients I put my all in the care I provide keeping in mind that a day will come where this could be my parents, my in-laws, or even I laying on that bed. I care for my patients with condolence and reverence.

I like giving care to people because it makes them feel better about themselves knowing that someone cares for them. I have Compassion working with patients. I have developed a lot of compassion for the patients and family members that I serve n Hospice. I maintains Loyalty with any company in which I am employed. I am always loyal to my superiors, position, and company in which I work for. Patients and kindness is a priority that you have to have in order to possess these strengths when administering healthcare to patients. The main example of caregiving is when my department was awarded $5000.00 in my name because I brought meals to this patient event though they were not eating. I have received many WOWs (company awards) and many compliments from being a World Class caregiver.

Hello I am 24 year old young lady with a mature mind who is caring, loyal, responsible, dependable, and reliable. I am a certified nursing assistant/med tech, have been for about 6 months now. I also have my level 2 background check and CPR certification. I am currently in school to get my BA in psychology. The reason why I became a caregiver is because when my grandmother was terminally ill from breast cancer I was helping her with her ADL's before I became a CNA. I saw how much she appreciated me and thats what made me want to be in this career field because I love helping people. My personal achievement that I am proud of is when I got my CNA license and still going to school to get my BA in psychology.

My name is Shanta' I am a 31years old nursing assistant I became a caregiver for 3yrs because I love the care for everyone love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing.

I became a caregiver when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer, after seeing how personal care was so important for a person that could no longer take care of themselves, I became interested in taking care of people on a personal level. I like being a caregiver because it is personal, you get to know a person and their needs without being rush, as you are in a nursing home setting. I pride myself with being patient, and getting to know what a person's personal preferences are. I have my CNA certification, and have been working with the elderly and special needs for about four years. Before I received my certification I work with special needs clients, in their homes.
