The reason why I became a caregiver is because I love working with the elderly, and what I like about this job is the different career opportunity available in this field.My most proud achievement is after working with a patient I can see that I gain there trust and them letting me know, that they appreciate my help and I can feel that.I am very dependable,honest,caring,and trust worthy , always ready and willing to do the job at hand.

I became a Caregiver because it's my calling I've worked in this field for the past 10 yrs. In my family that's a big deal to work in the health care professional, I come from a background of nurses. What I like most about being a Caregiver is the need of helping others.Also I enjoy the fact that the client gets one on one attention & in some cases the client doesn't have to leave there home. After working in the health field for the past 10yrs I decided to go back to school & get my CNA certificate. And I'm very proud of my acompishment, I also plan to pursue becoming a LVN while working as a CNA. I am a mother of 3 two boys & a girl & love life & helping others.

Hello! I'm Emma Milligan, I have been a caregiver for 2.5 years now. I will absolutely say that it is a HARD job but it is so rewarding, i look forward to helping families that need it & educating them on ways to make it easier on them when help is not available. I am a compassionate, patient, and dependable individual with a desire to support senior citizens in their homes. I hold senior citizens in the highest regard, because I love to listen to them and learn from them. I believe in treating anyone that I am supporting with the utmost courtesy and respect (how I would want myself or a loved one to be treated). I worked with an 84-year-old senior citizen in her home. I assisted her with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting and eating. I also prepared meals for her and did light housework. Additionally, I acted as a companion by reading to her and conversing with her. I became a Caregiver because, it's something that I love to do. What I love about being a Caregiver is helping someone who is in need. I have several achievements and certifications. I'm a helping, loving, and hard working Caregiver.

I became a caregiver back in 1995 when I worked in a Nursing facility. I love being a caregiver because I like to be able to help people that are in need of help with things they can no longer do on their own or have trouble doing on their own. A personal achievement that I am proud of is going back to school and getting my associates degree in Human services. I am married with three children. I have always been a caregiver to people and animals. I love to go camping with my family and enjoy the outdoors.
