I am a compassionate, patient, and dependable individual with a desire to support senior citizens in their homes. I hold senior citizens in the highest regard, because I love to listen to them and learn from them. I believe in treating anyone that I am supporting with the utmost courtesy and respect (how I would want myself or a loved one to be treated). I worked with an 84-year-old senior citizen in her home. I assisted her with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting and eating. I also prepared meals for her and did light housework. Additionally, I acted as a companion by reading to her and conversing with her. I became a Caregiver because, it's something that I love to do. What I love about being a Caregiver is helping someone who is in need. I have several achievements and certifications. I'm a helping, loving, and hard working Caregiver.

I became a caregiver back in 1995 when I worked in a Nursing facility. I love being a caregiver because I like to be able to help people that are in need of help with things they can no longer do on their own or have trouble doing on their own. A personal achievement that I am proud of is going back to school and getting my associates degree in Human services. I am married with three children. I have always been a caregiver to people and animals. I love to go camping with my family and enjoy the outdoors.
