I have over 10 years experience as a caregiver. I have worked for home health care agencies as well as private clients. I have also worked as a live in care giver. In my career as a caregiver, I have worked with clients with various conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke, diabetes, cancer treatment, hospice. I enjoy working as a caregiver because it is a rewarding job. I get satisfaction in knowing that I was able to be of help to my clients in their time of need. It gives me joy hearing my clients appreciate the help am able to offer. Hi !, my name is Cindy and I love care giving because it allows me to give back to the community with its wisest members, our elderly! I have twenty years experience as a care giver. I have ten years of live in experience and are trying to find a position which will allow me to spend more time with my disabled son. I'm a very friendly socially outgoing person and usually I end up very fast friends with my clients and their families. I usually can get them to bathe in no time because I am persuasive and professional! People will begin to eat healthier because I am an excellent cook and I pay close attention to nutrition. I am timely and can fill medi planners and recommend vitamins and supplements . In fact I'm gearing up for certification in herbology and functional nutrition. I'm also getting recertification in CPR locally. I'm considering certification in dementia care as well. I have worked and studied dementia in non credited format. I feel staying engaged is paramount in maintaining a healthy lifestyles in advanced years of life. I love arts and crafts and design projects for us to complete with interest and enthusiasm! Sometimes I sketch my clients and they enjoy this activity. I bring board games for fun and can play cards as well. I also attend church and stay close in my church community. I have been an EMT for over 12 years and enjoy helping others. The one on one interaction with the elder population is a rewarding experience. I treat others the way I wish to be treated with respect, kindness and empathy. Personal achievements I am proud of include: caregiving services from afar such as applying and maintaining grants, cancer insurance claims, applying and maintaining financial assistance from organizations or government agencies, healthcare advocate and coach, medical advisor, record keeper, personal assistant and many other acts out of kindness.

I have been in the US for the past eight years. I have been working as a CNA for almost five years. My dad chose a career pathway for my future- Nursing. He is 65, and my mom is 64. I have became a caregiver for around 10 years. At the beginning I took care my mother, an cancer disease patient. I have took care my mother for nearly 9 years. I saw and experience how cancer destroy a living people . I can feel the patient's painful. I gave them confident, hope and happy in the service .

I am 40 years of age, a wife and mother to a 10 year old boy w/a speech impairment. I am fun, outgoing, and compassionate. I have 4 1/2 years experience as a back office nurse for a Primary Care Provider and 2 years at Baylor Frisco OBGYN. I am a Certified Medical Assistant and have 8 years experience in home health care with stroke and dementia patients. I enjoy being able to help take care of people in need, it's a good feeling. A personal achievement of mine this past year was being able to take care of my mother through her fight against lung cancer. She is now in remission and living healthy and happy.

I am a fun-loving outgoing upbeat person that believes in being positive. I've been a caregiver for 20 years I have always enjoyed helping people making them smile helping them to achieve things that they didn't think they could. My biggest accomplishment was working with a stroke patient who could not walk and could not get out of the bed. With patience and persistence, less than a year my patient was up out of bed walking without a cane or a walker. It was great to see her being able to help herself again.

Hi! My name is Mia James and I am currently a student at Brookhaven Community College , planning to reviving my associates degree in Arts, in December, 2018. I am 23 years old and I am going to school online so my schedule is very flexible! I am planing majoring in Child Development and adolescence because I love kids and the developmental aspect of them is so interesting to me, especially children in their first year because I realize how intricate every little thing they do is. I am planing to use my degree to become a child councilor, in Middle School. I am a very reliable person and I do have my own car. I think I would be a good fit for this position because I have a lot of experience caring for children of all ages. I started babysitting at the age of 12 when I got my babysitting license. I love reading, dancing, arts and crafts, swimming, music, games, sports, playing outdoors, and animals! I also love doing all that stuff with kids! I try to get as much outdoor time as possible, I love being outdoors and I love how much learning there is for kids outdoors. I have also cared, for my Grandfather, Who has a slight dementia.I was there to provide a meal preps making sure uses the restroom I was there for transportation traveling to and from doctors appointments. And his reminder to take his pills through out the day. I have provider tons of caregiving experience which is why I feel this is my calling.
