I have been in the health care industry over 6 years. More than half of these years have been dedicated to being a in home care giver. My grandparents were very sick as I became a young adult and there's nothing I wanted more than to help make their daily task as easy as possible. I value patient relationships as they become a very big part of your life becoming like family. Giving them the care they deserve in their elderly years are very important and a right. I plan to give my patients the best experience of a in home care giver possible.

Over the years, I have always cared for others (aunt, uncle, godmother, sister, and mom). My mother was an educator as well as a natural caregiver of others. I assisted her and I learned a lot. We both enjoy helping others. I am respectful, knowledgeable of basic hygenic and healthcare practices, hardworking, compassionate, observant, with a strong background in science. Seeing the dignity that grows in individuals when they know someone respects and cares for them has been a major draw to my being a caregiver. I am pleased to assist others in improving and/or maintaining their health. My greatest personal achievement is being grateful for my life's journey.

I'm a very outgoing, fun, and energetic young lady. I was attracted to becoming a caregiver because of grandmother. She's now had 3 strokes in a 1 year span. Me & my sister took it as a job to take care of my grandmother & still to this day we do. We bathe, wash clothes, prep meals, go on dates for exercise, and keep her company for the most part so that she knows we love her & we are with her through everything. She's inspired me to help others just as we've helped her make herself feel like her again. Personally I'm proud of being a standup individual. Getting my high school diploma. Attending college and trying to do what I love to do for a living.

My name is Zaria I am a 21-year-old Health science major at Texas Southern University. I am very outgoing, ambitious, goal oriented, and responsible. I have taken courses in health development as well as other safety courses. In the past I have shadowed and often helped my grandmother as she once worked as a home care health provider for quite a while. I was able to visualize and learn all of the responsibilities and duties that were required for her job such as, running errands, meal preparation, house keeping and transportation. I really enjoy working with people and mostly enjoy jobs where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I also enjoy taking on tasks such as cooking for someone, helping with errands/shopping, conversing and participating in activities.

I'm a military veteran as well as a Pharmacy student. I am looking for part-time work as caregiver. Prefer afternoons and evenings. I've worked with the elderly and disabled and have great references. I'm patient, dependable and caring. I have taken care of my grandmother with cancer until she past. I have a current background check and drug test on file with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

I became a caregiver on behalf of my grandmother when she was became ill with cancer I stood by her bedside for year and since then caregiving has been apart of my life I feel like every time I'm in the presence of a senior I'm in the presence of my grandmother and I show that same love and respect that I would do my grandmother to everyone I take care of and assist with daily activities of their life. I assist patients with personal service such as grooming, bathing, dressing, making sure they eat right, and transfers. I m very familiar with memory loss and Alzheimer mental disability and I always make sure that my patients are comfortable and happy, while making sure they have a safe and secure environment. Im a hard worker, trustworthy, honest, loving, caring and very respectful. I know Im the perfect person for this great opportunity.

Based upon my upbringing and exposure, I have been taught to show compassion as well as sensitivity to others. I am attentive to people's needs and I have experience in the culinary world. At a young age I knew I wanted to work in a field where I could help and care for clients who are unable to function on their own.
