I am personable, friendly, and outgoing. Being a caregiver has been a familiar role I've seen throughout personal family experiences and work experiences. The ability to assist those in need is intrinsically motivating.

I have a natural motherly/caretaker instinct especially for elderly my personality has those tendencies I believe you can't teach .I worked in social services as a customer representative I know I have the patience love care and compassion for difficult patients and I worked beside a MD as an MA that gives me the experience I believe is needed for daily care of patients such as cpr wound care daily hygiene . I most enjoy having a connection with my patients knowing I had a positive effect on their lives .I don't have a specific personal achievement I just know over my years of working I've had a positive impact on many families.

During the summer, I decided to attain my nurse aid certification because I have always had a passion for the healthcare field. Through the program, I fell in love with the occupation and decided to pursue a future career in nursing. Through hard work, I was able to graduate top of my class out of 60 other cohorts. Although I am confident in my skills as a CNA, I would like to expand on my knowledge to become a better caregiver. I am a loving, caring, attentive person that wishes to provide the best care to all patients.

Patient , good humor, cooperative, detail oriented, and compassionate are personality traits that best describe me and that are necessary to to be a good fit anywhere and specially as a caregiver. I come from a family with special needs children that have helped me build my good character and grow my love and empathy. What has attracted me to be a caregiver aside from my experience has been my love for special needs children and adults and my empathy and Understandment towards people who cant or are no longer able to complete tasks on their own. I have always been taught to be a leader and with that role comes big responsibility. The first one being to be a great listener and to be willing to learn. I love to spread words of encouragement. I love being a caregiver because i love to listen to peoples stories, hear them out and be there for them. Its important to know that being a leader is not only being a boss but its being supportive, respectful, and most importantly having communication. As a close family member to a special needs child I am proud to say that I was able to help with his journey till he made it to school. Re-orgination, identifying problems and solving them, working on awards, schedules, and life skills are all achievements I was able to accomplish with him. From tasks as teaching him to tie his shoes, to buttoning up shirts and teaching him how to speak. I was also able to teach him how to write, and identify many items. These tasks took alot of work but with hard work, dedication and most importantly patience anything is possible.

I have 2 years working as a CNA in nursing homes. I am patient, kind, and look forward to working with some great individuals. I currently work full time from M-F 9 -6 and Saturday 9-1.

I am a very caring individual who is able to make tough decisions when caring for others. I first became interested in being a caregiver because my mother was a provider. Seeing her find fulfillment and joy in helping others was very rewarding. When my mother was diagnosed with cancer, I knew that it was my turn to be a caregiver. I provided meals, transportation, companionship, comfort, helping with insurance claims, and caring for her post-surgical wounds. I enjoy the hard work to help someone. The effort is all worth it knowing I have made someone's life just a tad easier.

i became a provider simply because my grandmother needed one. everyone in my family is hostile towards her nor do they check up on her. i see myself in her shoes one day as for she has lupus and other neurological disorders therefore, i wish to do everything in my power to make whatever time she has left memorable. i pray i get treated with respect and dignity once i'm her age.
