It is not my favorite job, but I Really enjoy working with hospice. I am bubbly and friendly and get along well with most people. A lot of people are afraid of working with hospice, but I enjoy learning about them and their lives. I have also helped my own family die after taking them into my home. I really mean it when I say that I will treat them as my own family.

My first experience with being a caregiver was when my mother became ill. I had no help from siblings so I took care of my mom by myself. My mom suffered from Dementia. I've always been the type of person who loves to care for the elderly in our family. After my mom passed away I decided to continue to be a caregiver. I get so much joy out of knowing that I have helped someone that basically cannot help themselves. It gives me great joy to see smiles on their faces.

Kind and caring with good listening skills. Self motivated, take instruction well, and not afraid to ask questions. I have good communication and observation skills. Will make sure the client is comfortable and will ask permission to help with tasks. I want to help your loved one while maintaining their dignity. Helping people has always been my calling. Making someone smile is very rewarding and knowing that I made a difference in someone's day.

I am a caring lady currently a nursing student. I go to school and take care of my family during the day and I work at night. I look forward to rendering services to anyone one who needs my services.

I am a kind and loving woman from East TX. All of my life I have been the person to take care of other people. I first learned how to take care of my aunt in the wheelchair by bathing, feeding being a companion, and just loving on her. I became a caregiver because I love people genuinely and I enjoy helping others when they can't help themselves. I had to take care of my mother who died of pancreatic cancer and it helped me truly understand that when people can't do for themselves or they are ill they sometimes need someone loving to care for them. A personal achievement I am proud of is that I helped over 100 homeless people get placed with homes and resources.

I work with our older generation and hear the wisdom that they have , hear the obstacles they overcame, and feel the appreciation from the smallest of things done for them and its the best feeling in the world at the end of the day knowing I did something good for someone. Iam curently going to college for my Associate in Nursing, hope to someday be able to do just a little more to help. I treat each person i care for the way i would want someone to care for my parents. I believe with every fiber that there should be nothing less tahn the best care given, these men and women spent their whole lives giving ,careing and loving, now its our turn to give back.
