I am easy to get along with, reliable, and dependable. I care as if I was doing it for my own relative. I am a patient understanding person. My passion for caregiving started from when I helped to take care of my grandmother who had Alzheimer's the last years of her life. I enjoy being able to help senior citizens, as well as people with menral health issues, and bring hope, amd help to their quality of life. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is writing and publishing 3 books, and being a mentor, as well as a certified life coach

I have been working and volunteering with elderly individuals for over 6 years. I am extremely passionate about serving this population and after my previous caregiving experiences I have decided that I want my career to be as a full-time caregiver. I am very sociable and outgoing and I love coming up with new crafts or activities. I have a lot of experience working specifically with individuals with dementia and have taken many classes and training classes about how I can best communicate with these individuals. I have a very strong work ethic and I am willing to do any task to assist in any way. My education and love for this population will make me a great caregiver who can provide the care and companionship needed.

I am a very bubbly person. Always ready for a good time always brings smiles to peoples faces when I walk in. What attracted to me originally being a caregiver was 4 years ago when my grandfather fell ill. He had COPD cancer in his lungs and agent .orange running through his body. I quit my job as a daycare provider to care for home for the last 3 years of his life. What I most enjoy about being a caregiver is just simply knowing I am helping an individual who needs help. A personal achievement I am most proud of is finishing school with an early childhood degree.

What helped me become a great caregiver was learning about the importance of being caring and patience. I have build a great bond with my past patient as she felt a sense of trust and care knowing that she was placed in good hands near me. What attracted me to being a caregiver was the fact that my mother is also a caregiver and has been doing it for years. I always thought her job was interesting being that she always had a loving heart of helping others which she taught me to do the same. The thing that I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being a companion, doing anything to make their day and help uplift their spirits. A personal achievement that I am proud of would be building a great connection with my client and overcoming challenges that I will try my hardest to complete. I don't give up on things too easily as I do believe there is always a way to get through them.

I love helping people and making sure they are taken care of. I have a lot of experience doing caregiver/assistant tasks. I am a fast learner. I have spent a lot of time with my grandparents and love helping and caring for them. I am very capable and can handle meal prep, cleaning, organizing, pet care, and companionship. I live in Columbus and am currently pursuing my bachelor's of science in elementary interdisciplinary studies with a minor in special education. I'm CPR and first aid certified, have 57 college hours and operated my own daycare for 7 years. I lost my grandmother at a fairly young age to alzheimers and parkinson's which was extremely hard for me. It is extremely important that our elderly are given the care and companionship they need.

Life is enriched through services of kindness and love. I assured my father in his care from his onset of medical issues in 2010 until his passing in hospice in 2018. When my father was able to maintain his own residence I assisted with groceries, cleaning, and bathing. When he was diagnosed with cancer I moved him into my home and provided his daily care including: bathing, tube feeding and meal preparation; assistance with physical therapy; grocery shopping; dressing; using the restroom; medication management; managing appointment; transportation; and all other needs. When my father was placed in hospice I sat by his side daily. Family's deserve the best care for their loved ones. I personally understand the strains of cancer and the loss of a parent. I get a deep experience of Joy in helping others. I am CPR certified and a Yoga instructor. I believe in the power of spirituality and the connection of mind, body, and spirit.

Hi! My name is Ashanti and I currently live in Coral Springs with my husband and 11 month old son. I have worked in may veterinarian offices due to my love and care for animals. I decided to expand my care and compassion to people and pursued my degree in medical assisting. I now work for a neurologist and orthopedist helping patients and their families cope with neurological diseases, strokes, dementia and alzheimer's disease, as well assisting with treatment to those who have neck and back pain.
