I'm an easy going person who loves sports and always down for a good hike. I've been a caregiver for almost 5 years now and enjoy what I do. I am patient and a good listener which comes from the experience in the field.

*What makes me a great caregiver is my empathy, patience, compassion, dedication, soothing nature, flexibility. * I became a caregiver by taken care of my mother in law when she became sick 17 yrs ago and eventually taking care of my sister in law as well before they both passed away. * Being a Caregiver for 17 yrs has helped me in so many ways, I love what I do. taking care of people that need help gives me joy in my heart. * Going back to school to obtain my Certification to become a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant.

I provide professional bedside companionship with genuine interest in client needs and wants. Fast learner and in tune to client. I love helping people accomplish what makes them happy. I am able to work well under pressure and am quick to resolve a problem when it occurs. I love making someone's day special, it is what makes caregiving fun.

I possess personality traits such as compassion, patience, empathy, and strong communication skills, which contribute to my effectiveness as a caregiver. I was initially attracted to caregiving because of the opportunity it provides to make a positive difference in someone's life. The aspect I enjoy most about being a caregiver is forming meaningful connections with individuals and witnessing the impact of my support on their well-being. One personal achievement I am proud of is helping a client regain their independence after a challenging health setback, highlighting my ability to provide personalized care and support individuals in achieving their goals.

Growing up in a family of healthcare professionals, I have always thought that I would become a nurse at a hospital. While in high school, I got a job at a local assisted living facility as a server, and I knew right away that this is the direction where my career would go. I enjoy working with the elderly population, and I have mostly enjoyed jobs where I can have one-on-one interaction with them and develop a relationship with the person I am caring for. Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed taking care of the elder family members, and I would like to help others in this way. I enjoy making making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I am proud to say that I have been a caregiver for over 10 years now, I have had other jobs along the way but always find my way back to caregiving. My compassionate and caring personality have always been my greatest assets, along with my attention to details and my willingness to always put away my needs to assist others. Knowing that a simple smile on my face can bring joy and happiness to someone else is why I still love being a caregiver. Also, the moments when I can reflect back and see how I have helped someone is what caregiving is all about.

I'm an experienced caregiver of more than 20 years. I'm a certified nursing assistant and I have all certifications of all caregiving classes and references of all past clients I've taken care off. I'm hardworking , punctual ,honest , and loving. I enjoy interacting with my clients through activities or just sitting and having a conversation with them. I've always seen myself and been a caregiver, and have spent a long time building a character to personally serve others. I am the oldest in the family, to look after another most of my life. I have an abilty to assume and anticipate needs of others. I am an excellent communicator, and enjoy improving the lives of others. I have a good standing current CNA liscense, Basic life support first aid/cpr, emergency care technician training, an degree in liberal arts with varying emphasis' including early childhood education, anthropology (linguistic, and cultural) as well as Psychology. I am single, and enjoy my time reading, garden, walking, movies, and crafting. I adore the people I have the priviledge to care for. Currently, I'm am passionately involved in a End of life/ hospice certification study, and will be for the next year or so. I feel this will not only round my career, but also give me the confidence and assurance I am able to fulfill my dream in this very special field. As I grow in End of Life care, I gain a deeper understanding of what it means to live, and the expirience of what it means to walk with someone during the end of their lives, physically, spiritually, emotionally.....this very personal journey no one needs to do alone. We find together what needs to be done, and we go there! Whatever that means to the person, and people calling me in. It's really quite a time, to be sure, every expirience is different, yet inevitably the same. I enjoy being a caregiver that helps people live their best life, with reassurance they have what it takes to live fully, and happily. Although I'm a caregiver for the terminally ill, I also challenge myself to care for clients with expiriences and health issues I'm "new"too...always eager to share and learn new people, and care needs I appreciate you, and your willingness to take on whatever challenges YOU are facing, and I encourage you to find the care will help you be your best
