I have been in the medical field since 1994. I love helping & caring for those who need it most. It makes me feel as if I'm extending the healing ministries of Christ (my last jobs motto). Helping those in need makes me feel like I'm put on this earth for a reason. To show compassion & understanding to those who need me at that particular time. I have recently relocated from Florida to Maryland in june 2014. I have past experience with home care in geriatrics and pediatrics. I am very compassionate ,caring and very enthusiastic about helping others. I provide light housekeeping,grooming, running errands, meal preparations, assisting to bathroom, bathing, and companionship. Family members should feel safe and secure when making the decision to leave their loved ones with a caretaker. I provide security,compassion, trustworthiness and professionalism with my experience in caregiving. This Career appeals to me because I love to work in environment that benefits humanity and that is rewarding.

I love helping people in need, regardless of how little or big the issue. I have been a Caregiver since the age of 10 when I started babysitting. When I was very young I despised dirt and still do till now: I always will wash my hands, handle things that are filthy away from my body, and this made my brothers call me "Doctor in the house". I wanted to be a Medical Doctor but the death of my mom changed my course of life for me. I took care of my dad till old age before he passed, also took care of a friend that was diagnosed with HIV before she passed; I have since 2008 became a certified caregiver in order to walk in my passion despite my degrees in computer science and being an Accountant for some years. Giving care to people that needs help, communicating with them that needs someone to talk to, encouraging hope, and been there when needed is what I love to do.

I am a very outgoing person and absolutely loved caregiving. I got into caregiving because I love helping people and Love to talk to the elderly. I was caregiver of the month for the month of June 2017 because I always went above and beyond what was expected of me by filling in for other caregivers on short notice. I always formed a bond with my clients and treated them like family.

I have been a caregiver/ Certified Nursing Assistant for over 10+ years. I am very caring and compassionate about my work. I became attracted to this field once my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and slowly begin to lose pieces of her self that she could not get back. It was almost like being that reminder and still loving her through it all. The most thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is the reward that money can't buy. The self reward you get knowing you helped someone in their most trying time. I am personally proud of me graduating college in 5 short semesters and hopefully going on to pursue my bachelors next!
