My general love for people and knowing I'm helping someone is what helps make me a great caregiver. I love making people feel like they will always have someone there for them when family can't be at the time, no one should feel alone.

I took care of my grandfather for many years before he passed and it is a passion if mine to help olderly people so that they can enjoy the rest of their life I want it to be the best time for them

I first started the home health career when I started taking care of my father in 2005. After he passed away in 2011 I realized that I had a passion for helping people and that this is what I wanted to do for a career. I recently lost my patient of five years and decided to go back to school. I am currently attending school to achieve my AS in Medical Assisting. I have been on the Dean's list every semester so far and hope to graduate in October of 2020. I love making my patients smile and reassuring them that they are special in every way.

My passion for caring for people around me especially my family and grandparents, got me attracted into the healthcare world. Caring for those that needs support and help, emotionally, physically and even socially. Being a caregiver/Stna is a very challenging job especially working as an hospice aide can become very stressful at times. I take pride in what I do I started out as a caregiver 6 years ago and I am now moving forward to become a nurse. When I first started it was very overwhelming, the first job I had as an Stna was at an assistant living facility and I grew such a great bond with residents there, I noticed how some people who were there were alone and all they had was us. I made sure I went above and beyond to help them and let them know I cared about them and was there for them even if no one else was. Being there I seen people pass away with no loved ones there to be with them. I was introduced to a hospice company that sits bedside 24hours with someone dying so they are never alone. I jumped right on board as soon as possible because I loved that idea. I have been with this company for over a year now and now moving forward to become a nurse I absolutely love what I do and I enjoy putting a smile on someone's face when they see me coming or after providing wonderful care. I have gotten to know so many different families over the years who have expressed nothing but good things about me and I love that I can make a difference not only to the patient but to their family also, knowing that their loved one is in good hands when i am with them.

I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and a current nursing student working on my bachelors of science and nursing. Providing care is not just a job to me; but also my passion. I first started providing care when I assisted my family in the care of my great aunt. After my great aunt passed, I decided to become certified as a nursing assistant to be able to provide care for all seniors.

I learned at a very early age that sometimes people need help with doing everyday tasks and I am willing and able to do whatever it takes to assist with those tasks. I have had this passion in me since I was 6, and helping my mother take care of my aunt, whom needed help with all aspects of life.
