Well, hello everyone! I'm very caring, attentive, and loving caregiver. I first started 5 year's ago; my best friend managed an assistant living, and needed some help. As soon as I began helping everyone I knew this was more than just a job, and that I was needed. What I enjoy the most is just getting to the client and hearing their stories. Along with helping care for them in all area's that help is needed and motivating them to continue doing the thing's they are able to do on their own. I'm just proud that I was able to connect and bond with everyone I cared for and they genuinely loved and appreciated me for it.

I believe I am a great caregiver because I pay attention to detail. I enjoy working with the people and helping people who can't help themselves. I became a caregiver over 7 years ago, I am just drawn to help people. I started out helping with children when I was just a child. I decided that someone will need me and I'm here to help them. I am most proud of the fact that I will be graduating from Milwaukee Area Technical College in less then 5 months, I am so excited that I finally made it.

Miss my own grandparents terribly. Caregiving fills that void for me. Love, it when my patients relive the past, and feel young again! I became a caregiver for my Mother after our Father had a stroke and she could not live alone. Ten years of care giving for her included having her move in with me; her daughter, and acclimate to a different location while I continued to be employed. One thing that I learned was how important it was that I be somehow listed as her caregiver for many reasons not excluding sibling outrage over Mother paying a daughter to care for her. I never regretted all the sacrifices we both accepted and made a life that included vacations, weddings, funerals, graduations and births to mention a few. Life was fun and challenging but I was happy and enjoyed my work a lot.

I have found that in the pass 17 years I still get a joy when I can help others caregiver is who I am.
