I am a great caregiver because I go out my way to provide good care to each and every client. I like being a caregiver because I like to help others. I am proud to be a caregiver helping others that can't do for theirself or need extra help. It good to now I'm helping others live a little better.

When I first started working in this field, it was because my mother became sick and I took on work as her caregiver. Though, I would have taken care of her for free, she insisted I be paid for it. After about a year of taking care of her she had gotten better, so my position was resigned. I went looking for similar work and I had found a place that changed my life forever! The people and their stories were electric to me! Understanding and helping people of all walks of life is my passion. I most enjoy learning the client and then finding ways to make their life easier and happier. I'm very patient, a hard worker and I' am naturally nurturing.

I have been a caregiver since 1998. I have always had a deep compassion for caring for others. I have a sister in a wheel chair that requires a lot of needs. Caring for her has given me a new look on others with disabilities who are unable to care for themselves. I do and will always make sure every client has a smile on their face and taken care of to the best of my ability. I live with my 2 children, my dog and two cats. We love animals. Hosing me as your care professional is like choosing a new best friend.

I started off taken care of my mother. I like knowing that there will be someone there for everyone during sick times. We all have to age who wants to do it alone? No one. Its nice to know someone is there to help them no matter what. I know today family and friends are so busy and can't be there like they would want and that's when I come in to help relieve some of the daily life stress.

I started as a caregiver when I was about 16 years old. My grandmother was very sick at the time and on hospice, I cared for her until she passed. After she passed, I started working in nursing homes and group homes as well as home care. My favorite so far has been home care, I love the 1 on 1 attention and care you can give. There is no rush and seems much less stressful to have a good experience with your caregiver. Some things i enjoy about being a caregiver is spending time with my clients and helping them in their everyday needs. I also enjoy the stories they tell :). A personal achievement I am very proud of, I attended Nursing school and had high honors all of my semesters with a GPA of 3.9. I enjoy spending time with my 9 month old daughter and husband. I also enjoy gardening, scrap booking and being outside in the summertime. :)

My name is Jennifer and I've worked in healthcare since 1994 and I love helping others it gives me such a sense of comfort knowing that I'm able to make someone smile. I became a caregiver after one day I was out in public and this older man fallen out his wheelchair and I asked him if I could be of assistance to him and the hug he gave me for helping him was priceless. I enjoy watching others feel good after they have reached their goal. My most personal achievement was when I raised all 5 of my children and they turned out to be some great children.

Hello My name is Regina . I am from Milwaukee WI. I became a caregiver back in 2007. My close friend had an accident which cause her to become a paraplegic. She was in a coma for a year. There was no way she would be able to care for her six children. So I decided to help cause no one else would. I enjoy helping people. I get excited from the progress my client make and also just from helping them feel comfortable living. A person achievement of mind would be a recent one. I work the memory care unit at my current job. So many of the residents don't remember you but all of my residents remember by name. They remember what we did and sometimes what we talked about. On my days off they are looking for me and when I come in they ask where have I been. It's so amazing because they don't even remember what might of happened an hour ago. It lets me know that I do well with them and I'm making and impact on them.

I'm very happy mindful caregiver who grow up with a disabled parent so I have learn that you to cherish everyone in your life. I have 18years not including my personal life expertise. I strive to allow a person to have full independence and help and aide even they want me. I've had my CNA license for a year. I also have my CPR license.

I would think that I have a bubbly personality. I'm very easy to get along with. The reason I came into this field is because I enjoy helping someone improve their day! Even if it's only because I opened the blinds, someone appreciates that! I have been a CNA for 8 years but I have 10 years of experience. Well I started caregiving in 1985 when my dad was diagnosed with cancer, my mom had to work so I became his main helper. The comfort he felt knowing someone was caring for him out of love made the transition is for him. So when he passed away, I decided I wanted to take care of people because I felt that was what God purposes for me to do. One of my biggest accomplishments as a caregiver was being recognized as employee of the year at my first job as a caregiver. I went on to house manager over five houses for memory care.

I am currently going to college for registered nursing! I have a year of experience in caregiving in assisted living as well as home care for my mother who is paralyzed.
