Hi, I currently provide independent living skills, dementia care, hospice care, nanny, housekeeping, companion care, transportation, senior and home health care services. I have been providing senior care since 2000. My education includes being a current LPN, Bachelors in Social Work, addiction counselor for 5 years and Masters in Human Services. I look forward to speaking with you regarding my qualifications. I am a very patient individual and believe that communication is the key to resolving most difficulties in life. I have 4 children of which 2 are military and 2 teens at home. I am a single mom who enjoys nature walks, being involved in the church and living a serene and quiet lifestyle. Reading, writing, volunteering and walks are a few of my favorite things to do.

I'm a great caregiver for these reasons, I'm dependable,punctual,eager to learn,eager to help, I get alone with any and everyone,including pets.I was created for this field.I have compassion for what I do & also for the seniors I help. I'm patient, I listent to my patient because by listening to them, I can provide them with what they need. As a personal care assistant I will provide all client with the physical daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing , getting out of bed, standing or exercising. Ensure client received appropriate diet by reviewing their daily restrictions food , allergy and Preferences. Helping client maintain a stable peaceful experience and to build a strong relationship with me as a personal care assistant as always been my Goal . I became a caregiver after I meet a lady ten years ago with cancer she had no family I would take time out my day to go shower her to cook and feed her and just to show her someone cares and show her love that would help her fight to see another day. The things I enjoy most about being a care giver is the joy,love,compassion, and life you can bring to someone. My great achievement I'm proud of is going back to school. I drop out of school taking care of my little baby cousin who at the time was 4 months my aunt was battling a mental disorder and the system was trying to take my cousin so I stop going to school to help her and later in life I went back and I graduate with top of my class getting my GED and also getting my certified clinical medical assistant, EKG tech and phlebotomy tech in less than 8 months because I tested out. Now I'm on the road to becoming a nurse.
