Always Best Care

Hi, I have been caring for people of all age groups. I enjoy my work and think of the other person and how they must feel to depend on someone as a total stranger for help. I try to get along with everyone. To know someone is looking out for them and willing to help. To be able to care for families and do a good job.

I am a very caring person and has established long lasting relationships with all of my patience. I knew that I wanted to be a caregiver after taken care of my grandmother. One of my goal is to start my own business in care giving.

I became a caregiver 10 years ago when my mom became my reason to go into this field. She had dementia, parkinson's disease and cancer. I worked outside the home as a caregiver learning more about how to have exceptional skills to not only be her caregiver but to provide the same love of the work with others needing care. I also have a adult son with autism and grabdchildren with special needs. All this has taught me love, patience and understanding of caring for others.

I took care of both of my parents, thru their illness'. Was employed with San diego Hospice for almost 10 years. I have continued this like of work as I enjoy helping others in difficult times. I have been a Healing Touch practitioner for over 15 years, as well as a Reiki Master.

I have worked with adults and childern. I have always tooken care of my dad who is a diabetic. I have all my certifications (Frist Aid, CPR, ect.)

I became a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of people. I like caregiving because it give me a chance to help someone that's not able to fully care for themselves. I'm proud that I decided to return to school. I've work as a Certified Nurse Aide for 5 years, but started in regular home care when I was 18 , I cared for my grandmother when she had a stroke that left her unable to do for herself.

I took care of both of my grandfathers then I went on and got my CNA certification but then I decided to start as a home health aide. I love being with people and doing for them . I am the type is that caring and very loving. I was a firefighter and first responder for 15 1/2 yrs , Current CPR certified and I do not mind staying over night or sitting with them for alittle whilte

I became a caregiver because I love to help people every one needs a little help every once in a while & one day I may need the same assistance . I took care of my aunt who had cancer &eventually passed & that really opened my eyes to how short life is &made me want reach out to people & help them . what I like about being a caregiver is seeing the smile &look of appreciation on my clients face after being helped . because I love helping the elderly. its gets lonely when you do not have no one to talk to or to just sit and listen about the lives they had. I love hearing their stories about their time. That I respect hem as an human being and not as a child and that they have feelings also. I am very devoted in caring for the elderly and do my best and try to give them what they need at the time that they need it. Just to be a helping hand to them.

Being a caregiver is an amazing experience. I love to talk with my clients and know their preferences, they have to feel and be comfortable all the time, they deserve a quality of life. Some seniors likes to share their experiences of life, hearing their histories and sharing their clever thoughts is interesting, I remember my parents taking care of them, I learn to love them.

I was introduced to care giving at a very young age my mother worked at an assisting living I would go with her to work and help out , I would bond with the elderly a lot I had my own personal relationships with them and it was always a cozy experience , eventually I would became a caregiver for my grandmother at the age of 16 I would get my grandmother prepared ( personal care denture , cleaning , dressing assistance , breakfast) in the morning for her day program before I went to school , After school the task would be bathing , dinner prep , bed padding change , medication management. I love care giving the help and relief I 'm able to give to families , the bonds I'm able to build. I believe one day we will all need help we may be older we may not but if we do require help at anytime we would want someone to treat us with care and compassion , I would want someone to take great care of my parents if I wasn't able to !

To start off Hello my name is Destiny and it's an honor to introduce myself. I got attracted to being a caregiver when i was really young and i was able to have the privilege to help my grandmother at her work, the care, love and passion she had with her job and the clients made me want to help people the same way, I ended up taking care of my uncle later on in life for 9 years with my aunt and wanted nothing more just for clients to know there is still people that care for them just by sitting there and letting them have someone to talk to, as well that they are respected.
