Hello, well let me say Nursing isn't just a job. It's something that you have to enjoy doing. Caring and having the patience and love for another human being. I love to put a smile on someone's face. I have a cheeriness demeanor that most people who knows me would say. Patience is virtue, in assisting the elderly I've learned to go at a steady pace with clients. I'm a good listener when it comes to Care giving . Listening and understanding your client will pay off in so many ways for the Nurse and client. It helps with many frustrations with everyone and understanding is the key. I'm not just a Nurse or worker, I've always been treated or felt like family. I am determined to go the extra mile to what needs to be done. For many years I have been in school for nursing. In the beginning I started years ago as an aide and my instructor had a vision of me going further. Hello, my name is Sarah Grunwald, and I've been a CNA since 2011. I've worked in both settings as a CNA at an assisted living facility and clients homes. My personality traits as a caregiver are super friendly, I try to get to know and understand a client and their families to provide the best care for a client to keep both family and client at ease. Being a caregiver is something just indented into my DNA. My goal is to give the best care I can give, while maintaining a client's independence so that they may stay in their homes as long as they possibly can. I started caring for my latest great grandmother and her husband when I was 16. By giving them care it made me want to help others in those same situations (Those with Alzheimer's and dementia). I have loved it ever since. I have a better understanding on what they feel in the many stages it comes in. I feel like if it wasn't for my grandparents I wouldn't be in this field, to give the elderly the companionship that they need and deserve.
