I am currently working as a Direct Support professional, and I am active home health aide. My position has given me more hands on experience with individuals who are disabled or in need of assistance. Being a direct support professional and a home health aide helped me understand certain aspects on the type of care a person needs as I progress in this particular area in the healthcare field.

I love helping people that can't or have trouble helping themselves. I became a care giver because when my grandmother got sick and needed help, I was there to help her. It was my first time taking care of the elderly and before long I was a pro at it. I loved the feeling of making someone feel better, so I became a caregiver. And, to this day I still love every minute of it.

I became a caregiver because I love to help people. I'm very easy to get along with and love to get to know people. I don't have a lot of experience but I always do a wonderful job with my clients. I don't have any kids so I'm almost always available!

I have worked at a nursing home for 3 and a half years now but am looking for a new job due to relocation to Des Plaines. I am not a certified CNA but I do have plenty of experience as a caregiver and daily living activities especially with Alzheimer's and dementia patients. I have flexible hours during the week, am able to work Monday-Friday at any time. Preferably morning shift but I can also do some nights. Weekends I am PRN at my nursing home job, but I could also pick up some weekends if needed.

My name is Rachel I'm currently looking for a late shift to pick up during the day. Im currently working with a company for elderly adults. I help them with there homes, cleaning up, help with meal prep , mainly what they need help with and of course some companion ship. I've always enjoyed to make people smile and get to know different personalities. I am very well to get along with and willing to help people.

After four years in the Navy. I spent most of my life in the medical field. First as a medical escort, then as an e.m.t. And now as a C.N.A. . I enjoy the fact that I am helping people. My greatest accomplishment in life is seeing the people I work with get better.

I went through school and got my CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant). I worked at St. Thomas Hospital and quickly realized that it was not the job for me. I like to connect with people on an emotional level and care for their specific needs. In the hospital there were so many patients with all different levels of care. I wanted a job to care for people, but I realized that I needed to find a job to care for one individual. I found myself at Always Best Care working with senior citizens in their home. I fell in love and still am in love with my job. I believe that if a person is in Occupational or Physical Therapy, we should continue to work on the exercises at home so that the person can excel and be the best they can be. I believe that whomever I am caring for should be safe, happy and comfortable at all times! Happy is very important. I am trustworthy, respectful and very kind.

My mother is a CNA she has been for 16 years I seen that she like her job and like to help others. So 1 day I was like hey I like to help people to so I applied to become a caregiver and I did.
