I been I caregivers about 2004 working with all different people with Alzheimers an,Dementia I loving helping patients with their life being their for them taking time an Patience with shower an making meal taking them to their Dr.apt. I always have a big heart help people with their Illness.

I am a certified CNA with 28 years of experience. I was motivated to be a caregiver at a young age living with my grandparents who raised me. My grandfather had a stroke and diabetes. At the age of 12 I assisted my grandmother to take care of him because I loved them very much. I believe you should do unto others as you will have them do unto you by being accountable, putting their priorities first and giving lots of tender loving care. I always do above and beyond my call of duty. My greatest achievement in CNA is that I have never been unaccountable for not working when I said I will do the job. Clients accept me as part of their family and never want to get rid of me.

My name is Irela Lopez. I am very kind and sweet girl with all people. I love my work and I do the best that I can. I do my best for that elderly and they can feel happy with my company. I am very responsible. I have 3 years of experience as a medical assistant, I have experience with people with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, Parkinson's, and others. I am a determined hard-working individual, what I enjoy most about being a companion caregiver is knowing that you can change your client or patients' day with kind words also having an opening ear to listen but most importantly being there for your client or patients letting them know that there are individuals out there who actually care for them and the safety of their wellbeing.

My mother had dementia and I had to learn the cares for that. On top of having a client with no mobility. Knowing I can help people stay in the comfort of their homes and feel the freedom of coming and going. The fact that I meet new people and their families and connect just because I choose help with their loved ones care. I actually am going back to school to receive my diploma.

I became a caregiver because I have a passion fro helping others in need. Being a caregiver is very rewarding when you see how happy you can make someone by being there to help them out. Most of my clients have had either Dementia or Alzheimer's I am an achiever, not a quitter, dependable, responsible, attentive, empathetic and caring.

I'm a great caregiver because I give the elderly the same care and respect that I would give my grandparents. My personality trait includes patience, compassionate, and being enthusiastic. The reason why I like being a caregiver is because I grew up taking care of my great/grandparents at a young age. I enjoy being a caregiver because sometimes I think of them as my own grandparents and it helps me prepare for my career path which is becoming a Gerontology Nurse. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is how my clients would always tell me that they like me because I am not rough with them and that I am very nice instead of being snobby.

I Enjoy caring for elderly ones, seeing them makes me imagining that someday, i might be in this age if its Jehovah's will, And i will need someone to care for me too. I've been a home health aide for 13 years and a CNA for 7 years, I love everything about the elderly community! Im patient and extremely understanding to their needs. I started this journey in memory of my Grandmother Mrs. Bernice Hair, she was the best and she passed away when I was 14 years old. I loved her and still wish she was here to witness my heart physically!
