I have lived in Riverside county my whole life. 5. I am a in home caregiver, certified nurses assistant, and a certified home health aide.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping and nurturing people. I feel fortunate to give the elderly the help they no longer can do themselves. I am proud that I was able to graduate from high school. I am kind hearted and love animals, my family and reading books on health and herbs.

Hi this is Tracy I would like to tell you a little bit about myself I have been working in the healthcare field for over 20 years I also work with children and adults with disabilities I enjoy doing what I do I'm also an activity instructor as well! I've always enjoy helping others and seeing progress in others as well.

I became a caregiver 10 years ago when my mom became my reason to go into this field. She had dementia, parkinson's disease and cancer. I worked outside the home as a caregiver learning more about how to have exceptional skills to not only be her caregiver but to provide the same love of the work with others needing care. I also have a adult son with autism and grabdchildren with special needs. All this has taught me love, patience and understanding of caring for others.

I am a caregiver who came from Colombia five years ago. Before I left my country I used to take care of my uncle who was in a coma for over a year. The experience that I had it takes a special person to take care of someone who needs help. Since I've been in USA I've had the opportunity to work with and help many seniors, disabled and terminally ill patients. One year ago I decided to open my own business which offers transportation for the seniors around the Coachella Valley.

I have been a CNA for the past 4 years and I have been enjoying working with the elderly patients. I love taking care of my patients by helping them with everyday chores and by being a great companion.

I think what makes me a good caregiver is that I treat the all my clients with respect and I attend to their needs I like to form a bond with them and treat them as if they were my own family since I spend a lot of time with them I like to get to know each of my clients on a personal level understand and connect with what my client is going through I like to be able to emphasize and I try to put myself in their shoes I try to put my patience at ease for any fears or discomfort that they may have. I am very passionate about my job I love what I do I love just taking care of people in general whatever I can do to help them makes me feel like I've done something important and it gives me satisfaction as well as the feeling of being complete.

Hello, My name is Latrinia Hooks. I just recently receive my certification as a CMT along with my CPR/AED/First Aid. Although I don't have as much experience right now I am a dedicated to my new career path an I know I have what it takes to get the job done. I am a very outgoing person who gets along with pretty much everybody. I am currently working as a Caregiver for Always best care senior service, I am learning a lot but I am not really working directly with medicine. Which is what I wanna do so I can eventually take my career path further into medicine. With the proper training and directions I will have the experience to do that. I have personal experience with my Grandfather who passed away in 2015 and now working with my Father who can no longer walk. I think I make a good caregiver because I have the patience you need to work within this type of field. And I am enjoying everything I have done within a short period of time already
