hi my name is Shawna, im a CNA who loves taking care of your loved ones like they are my own family. I've always knew i was going to work in health helping others. How I started out as a pca was, wanting to know how do care for my family when the times comes and what training do i need to make sure im ready for it. While being a caregiver to a variety of people ive awlays wanted them and the families to feel as if i was taking care of my loved ones. What attracted me to be a caregiver is that I dont have my grandparents here . I love spending time with old people because I can feel like they are part of my family seeing them as a grandparents.

I became a caregiver because I am a very kind compassionate person that like to help and assist people in a respectable caregiver way. I like being a caregiver because it brings out loving, kind and caring side I am a kind, caring person that care about people well being. My personal achievement is hearing people say how nice and kind I am.How well I do my job and how they appreciate the assistance. I have been a certified nurse aid since 2006. I have worked as a school nurse, with seniors alzheimer's disease, strokes, handicap individuals, and mentally challenged and delayed individuals . I am also a First Aid CPR Instructor.

I am a mother and because of that care giving comes naturally to me, I love to provide care to those in need being infants or adults or special needs. It is a passion and it makes me happy doing it.

When she had diabetes I was the one caring for her, I bath her, cook for her, chat with her and assist her to the hospital. I have been a Certified Nurses Aide for the last 18 years I have worked with people with disabilities for Five years and I have work 10 years in a nursing home so I am very qualified

I am a very good caregiver with lots of skills. Examples: a good companion, good activities skills (as in recreation skills) good at range motion exercise. I am a very caring person and my mother has really taught me how to give back to everybody. My mother has been a nursing assistant for almost 20 years and I've always been fascinated by her work. I started giving care to my aunt who hard a terminal disease. I like the fact that I was able to give her the help and care needed at that crucial moment. It feels good being able to help people who could benefit from my services. I took care of a couple who both hard dementia for four years. I was everything to them.
