I have a great big heart and I just love caring for people, the joy I get from helping others is a Good feeling and Making a difference in someone's life. My goal is to share my home and family with someone and turn it into a personal care home, for someone who doesn't have that, and just take care of them and show them all the love that they hearts can take, I come from a very close loving and caring family that likes to help people just because, JUST BECAUSE IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO

I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. . I get to make a real difference in this person's daily life and improve their overall well-being. . Offered exceptional care to elderly and disabled patients, providing them with a happy and comfortable life.

What makes me a great caregiver? I’m a great caregiver because it is most important to me that a client needing a caregiving service should be treated with RESPECT and DIGNITY. I am therefore compassionate, emphatic, friendly, patient and understanding to any client I am assigned to. I am also conscious to privacy and confidentiality issues, and sensitive to the need of patients/client to be as independent as possible. If client needs to have a healthy conversation on something that interests them, I can engage with them to make their social life as normal as possible. I take pride of having high emotional intelligence to be in control of myself and not reactive; thus, responding promptly with calmness to what needs to be done. I have gained knowledge and skills to enable me perform the procedures in caring for a patient/client by undergoing a required certificate course as well as through experience. I continue to seek trainings to update my knowledge and skills. Why did I become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because I consider it as an opportunity to perform duties that would be MEANINGFUL in my life. I have a big heart for anyone needing a caregiving service, and therefore see caregiving as a calling for my heart and soul to pursue. What do I like about being a caregiver? It gives me satisfaction and happiness to provide CARE as a professional service to anyone needing it. I find the nature of caregiving service to be in agreement with my being SELF-MOTIVATED, HONEST, and COMPLIANT with the CARE PLAN and the rules and regulations in relation to home health care. What is a personal achievement I am proud of? I am proud of having found the field of caregiving as a meaningful profession that matches my own character and interest. I am also proud that I am now a licensed as Home Health Aide by the Board of Nursing, New Jersey.

To whom this may concern, I have had the privilege to work in the non-profit sector for over ten years, have significant personal experience which contributes to the healing processes, and a wide array of teachings from different teachers from India, Peru, and contemporaries in the field of psychoanalysis. In addition, I have worked in the field of substance abuse and inpatient treatment with the at-risk population. These experiences helped me gain the skills to be a caretaker, a counselor, and manage a group home setting. In addition, I have experience working with hospice.clients transition toward end of life care. I have found a great appreciation for hospice work, but also have helped assist individuals who may be experiencing recovery from strokes, parkinson's, and dimentia care. I have learned a lot through my experience from my clients, co workers and education. I'm gentle and patient. I was going to college to become a Surgical Technologist and my employer would not allow me to take time off of work to attend classes so I went to work as a CNA then home care. I enjoy the companionship and hearing stories. Also, knowing that I helped someone have a better quality of life. Making it through college especially Algebra so I could change careers.

I am a very responsible dependable honest person, i will always be on time and efficient. When I was growing up I use to help with my uncle who has a TBI and was wheelchair bound then bed bound, I have always helped with his daily care, my mother also has a TBI, I helped her a lot as well, when I was 18 I applied to a assisted living got hired and it was honestly the best job I ever had.
