hi my name is Shawna, im a CNA who loves taking care of your loved ones like they are my own family. I've always knew i was going to work in health helping others. How I started out as a pca was, wanting to know how do care for my family when the times comes and what training do i need to make sure im ready for it. While being a caregiver to a variety of people ive awlays wanted them and the families to feel as if i was taking care of my loved ones. Being Professional, compassionate, having good communication, having empathy and patience, keeping a balanced schedule and staying up-to-date with training and just being there is what i strive for with each visit. i believe that you can always learn more each day is different and so is each visit. what i enjoy about being a caregiver is helping others when they need it the most,knowing that they are taken care like my own family when im with them. i proud to be continuing education so that i am able to provide more care to better help.

What attracted me to be a caregiver is that I dont have my grandparents here . I love spending time with old people because I can feel like they are part of my family seeing them as a grandparents.

Post-SurgicalRecovery:Assisted clients in rehabilitation, ensuring a smooth recovery by managing medication, mobility, and wound care.Palliative/Hospice Care: Offered emotional support and comfort to both the client and their family during end-of-life care.Disability Support: Helped clients maintain independence by assisting with daily tasks and encouraging their strengths.These experiences have helped me grow not only as a caregiver but also as a person.

I'm a happy caring determined professional individual. I grew up with my grandparents and have been taking care of them since I was old enough.
