As a caregiver, my nurturing nature and patience are my strongest personality traits. I've always been drawn to caregiving because I find fulfillment in helping others and making a positive impact on their lives. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is forming meaningful connections with those I care for and being able to provide them with comfort and support. One personal achievement I'm proud of is successfully helping a client regain their independence after a challenging recovery process, knowing that I played a part in their journey towards wellness.

I consider myself of being a great caregiver because I have a good personality, I'm always smiling, I do not take any of my social or personal life to my job, I never leave a job that I haven't finished and if I get in a situation that's complicated I will take all the time it takes to figure out the problem, I am very dependable and always on time, I have patience and highly respect my clients or elders. What attracted me to being in the medical field was that I am a loving person that care and enjoy helping people with their daily needs. After I helped my mom take care of my dad almost 23 years ago, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer, that's all I've had a passion for every since, traveling from client to client. I really enjoy the companionship and some of the funny stories my clients have to tell about the past,. I like to make them feel that it's somebody in the world that still loves and cares for them and have no problem with helping them if needed. I thank God for letting me be able to do the job I do and the caring and loving person I am.

Hi, I'm Ilyanna I'm currently in school to become a CNA but I've previously worked at UAB Hospital on a surgical unit. Helping Patients with Dementia, Cancer, Kidney Disease, Liver Disease or even some patients just needed help with simple activities like getting to the restroom and helping with pain management. I've also worked as a caregiver it. I started off helping take care of my Grandmother with Dementia and then transitioned to helping her while she was on hospice. I have a passion for my job and hope to one day start my own Caregiving business. I know it's not always about taking care of someone! Sometimes we just need company!
